Case Description:
Mr. Tang Guohua, 69, passed away on January 13, 2011. He was arrested by officers from the Daliujia Town Police Station on the evening of August 14, 2005. He was sentenced to three years in prison after he had been detained in the Pulandian Detention Center for eight months. He was transferred to the Dalian Prison, after he had been held in the New Inmates Ward, Liaonan Prison, for over 40 days.NNIn the detention center, the New Inmates Ward, and the Dalian Prison, Mr. Tang was tortured and ordered to perform forced labor. He was very thin when released from prison. He suffered from several diseases, including diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure.
