The family members of some detained practitioners said that about 40 to 60 practitioners are on hunger strike in the Shan-lu-ju Detention center of the Xuan-wu district and another 3 practitioners are to be sentenced.

Practitioners in the US have already sorted out about 45,000 signatures and delivered them to the Chinese NPC through emails. Most of the signatures are from American people who would like to support Falun Gong practitioners in China to obtain the basic human rights, and to solve the Falun Gong issue peacefully through dialogue with the Chinese government. The signature-collecting activities are still going on around the US.

Police swarmed around the NPC' closing session yesterday to prevent Falun Gong members from formally registering complaints about the banning of the spiritual movement. Police in and out of uniform blanketed Tiananmen Square in front of the Great Hall of the People and were seen questioning and searching people seemingly going about their normal tourist and daily activities.
On March 4, 2000, I went to ask the police near the People' Congress Centre how to express our concerns to the congressmen. As a result, I was taken to Ti-An-Men Police Station and detained until 5:00PM. During that period of time, I saw Falun Dafa practitioners come and go onstantly. Although I did not achieve my original goal that day, I further understood that there are many ways to guard Falun Dafa.
