Falun Gong practitioners Luo Ming-pu and Liu Tao, who are two graduate students from Si-chuan University, and Chen Ming-yong, a graduate student from Si-chuan Institute of Industry, have been detained for more than half a year since they got arrested in October of 1999 for their suspected involvements in drafting an open letter to Mr. Annan, the general secretary of UN, and collecting signatures.

A few days ago, one of my classmates studying in the United States brought back a science video entitled "The Mysterious Origins of Man". I was deeply touched after watching it. It was an unusual video in the sense that it systematically collected a series of archaeological evidence that had always been rejected by a majority of the science and technology community. With the unquestionable facts, this video challenged the widely accepted theory of Man' origin---the theory of evolution.
