On May 13, over 50 Falun Gong practitioners held an experience sharing conference in somewhere of He-bei Province to celebrate the first World Falun Dafa Day. They extended their gratitude to Teacher Li, who introduced Falun Dafa to the public eight years ago. All practitioners, from 8-year-old kid to elder people in 70s, appeared so joyful and peaceful.

After New Zealand practitioners took the lead in celebrating the World Falun Dafa Day, practitioners in Sidney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Adelaide of Australia conducted 2 days of celebration and Falun Dafa promotion activities in succession.

About 60 practitioners from Paris area held a two-day celebration activity in the Trocadero Park. The group practice had attracted many tourists and the local people. Media including the France International Broadcasting Station and European Channel One came to cover the activity.

Practitioners in Japan celebrated the World Falun Dafa Day in Tokyo. Starting from 1pm, about 150 practitioners joined the parade. Within 3 hours, about 2,000 flyers were distributed. Journalists from AP and some other news agencies came to cover the whole activity. [Reported on May 16, 2000]
[Netherlands]
On May 13, practitioners from all over Netherlands gathered at Delft to celebrate the first "World Falun Dafa Day".
A precious gift, the Dutch version of Zhuan Falun, was presented to this special day. With half year' hard work in collaboration with Belgian practitioners, we managed to finish the proofreading before the "World Falun Dafa Day". Practitioners were very excited about the Dutch version of Zhuan Falun.
Practitioners from Chicago area celebrated the World Falun Dafa Day at the famous Buckingham Fountain Square located in downtown Chicago. Local media covered the activity.
