Several Short Stories of Kindhearted Everyday People During the Period of Fa-rectification

  1. A young man with the surname of Liu saw that an older coworker of his with the surname of Zhao had truth-clarifying CDs in his toolbox. So Liu asked Zhao, "What on earth are you doing?" Zhao replied calmly, "I am doing very good things that help to save the people of the world." Zhao then began to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. Liu listened to him intently and asked quite a few questions during the conversation. He then suddenly stood up, pumped his fist in the air, and shouted to everyone, "Falun Dafa is good!"
  2. The husband of a practitioner had a run-in with the law. He was arrested and sent to a detention center. While he was there, he saw with his own eyes how guards encouraged the inmates to use a variety of methods to torture Dafa practitioners, but nothing could shake the determination of these practitioners in continuing their cultivation of Dafa. When he was released, he told his wife, "You Dafa practitioners are truly magnificent." From that point on, he started to tell everyone he met how magnificent Dafa practitioners are and stopped interfering with his wife's cultivation.
  3. A female practitioner with the surname of Liang always carries truth-clarifying material with her when she takes the bus, so that she could clarify the truth to those passengers next to her. One day, she started to clarify the truth to an old lady in her 70s on the bus. When she was finished, the old lady said with a great deal of emotion, "What is wrong with today's society? Falun Gong is such a good thing. Why are people not allowed to practice it? It is truly terrible." When she got off the bus, she took some truth-clarifying material with her.
  4. Two policemen from the local police station complained to my mother-in-law that they are very busy these days because they have to arrest so many Falun Gong practitioners. My mother-in-law replied, "Why should you arrest them? Are there any Falun Gong practitioners among the thieves and swindlers?" One policeman said, "There is nothing we could do. We do not want to do this either, but we have to make money somehow." My mother-in-law said, "How could you get any pleasure from spending the money that you earned by arresting good people?" The two policemen kept on nodding in agreement and said, "What you said is so right!"
  5. After watching the truth-clarifying VCD that I gave to her family, my neighbor's daughter said, "Now I finally know how Jiang deceives people. He is just despicable." She then said that she was going to take the VCD to school and let her classmates watch it, so that they too could know the truth behind the "Self-Immolation."
  6. The head of a certain police station in Beijing told a Falun Gong practitioner, "You keep stepping forward to appeal for Falun Gong again and again, and you are fearless. If there were nothing extraordinary about Falun Gong, you definitely would not behave this way. I am going to read Zhuan Falun carefully. As a matter of fact, every time before I have to go to your home to check things out, I will call you first. I am afraid that you might be hosting out-of-town practitioners, then I would have to follow the orders of the higher-ups and arrest everyone."
  7. An elderly Beijing lady went to appeal for Falun Gong on July 21, and her husband decided to go with her. When they arrived at the front gate of the Appeals Office, he saw something amazing. There were rays of bright red light radiating from the Dafa practitioners who stood together arm in arm, while clusters of black qi were being emitted by those vicious policemen who were beating the Dafa practitioners. He told his wife, "This has finally made a believer out of me." After they went home, he too started to practice Falun Gong.
  8. A practitioner measures everything he does against the requirement of Dafa and is strict with his xinxing (moral standard) at his work place. Everyone in his company, from the management to his subordinates, says that Falun Gong practitioners are people of principle with high moral standards. The head of the human resources department said emotionally, "My husband is in charge of supervising Falun Gong practitioners in the labor camp. I warned him that if he ever hurts Falun Gong practitioners at the labor camp, I would divorce him." Her husband was very surprised by what she said because she is normally very even-tempered. Even he admitted, "The people who practice Falun Gong are really very kind."
