(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of December 10, 2010, when Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Zhang Yalin, Ms. Jia Shuxiang, Ms. Liu Xiuyun, Ms. Zheng Derong and Ms. Li Xiufeng clarified the truth about Falun Gong in Yuhuzhai Township, Qianxi County, they were reported to the police by villagers who were brainwashed by the CCP's lies. The police from the Yuhuzhai Township police station and Qianxi Domestic Security Division arrested the practitioners and took them to the Qianxi Lockup. On December 15, except for Ms. Li Xiufeng, the other four practitioners were transferred to the Qianxi Detention Center. Ms. Li Xiufeng was sent back home because of high blood pressure. Her family members were extorted out of three thousand yuan. In March 2011, the Qianxi County Procuratorate illegally tried all five practitioners.

Ms. Jia Shuxiang, 55 years old, started practicing Falun Gong in 1996. In the past, she had a lot of illnesses and couldn't even straighten her back while she was walking. She couldn't do any farm work or housework. Her husband often took her to hospitals for medical treatment. Although they spent a lot of money, she didn't get any better. Her friend recommended Falun Gong to her and told her that Falun Gong is very good, improves one's moral character and outlook on life, and as a result one's health is improved. Soon she started to practice. After she began practicing, all her diseases disappeared and her body became very light. Her grateful family witnessed the miraculous change in her, and they all supported her in practicing Falun Gong.

When the communist regime started to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, many practitioners including Ms. Jia Shuxiang were detained in the basement of the Kaiping District Police Department for several months.

Ms. Zheng Derong, around 40 years old, started to practice Falun Gong in 1997. She experienced a huge improvement in both her mind and body. Her family also witnessed the great changes in her and were very supportive of her practice of Falun Gong. After she was arrested, her family members went to the Qianxi Domestic Security Division many times to ask for her.

Ms. Liu Xiuyun, 53 years old, comes from the Kaiping District of Tangshan City. Before she started practicing Falun Gong, she had a very bad relationship with her mother-in-law. However, after she started the practice, she disciplined herself according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to be a good person. When her mother-in-law became sick, she forgot all the conflicts they had in the past and took great care of her. Her mother-in-law was deeply touched by her compassion and she often told other people: “Falun Gong is so great, my daughter-in-law has totally changed! Now we all get along with each other very well.” However, after 1999, Ms. Liu Xiuyun was arrested by officers from Zhengzhuangzi Police Station and taken to the Kaiping District Police Department.

Mr. Zhang Yalin, 45 years old, is an employee of the Tangshan Steel Company. After 1999, he was detained at the Tangshan No. 2 Detention Center. In the spring of 2002, he was detained at the Tangshan No.1 Detention Center for further persecution. It was said that after he was arrested this time, the Tangshan Steel Company participated in the persecution and planned to fire him.

In the Qianxi Detention Center, Ms. Jia Shuxiang and Liu Xiuyun started a hunger strike to protest the persecution. Ms. Jia was forced to wear heavy torture instruments that immobilized her upper body, as well as foot shackles. She was also viciously force-fed by Tian Guilu, Fu Jianjun and other officers.

On January 17, 2011, practitioner Ms. Chen Hongli from Qianxi County was sentenced to four years of imprisonment by the Qianxi Court. Later on, she was taken to Hebei Women's Prison. The detained practitioners requested to meet with the detention center head Tian Guilu and demanded their unconditional release. Tian Guilu denied their request. Ms. Jia Shuxiang and Liu Xiuyun started a hunger strike to protest their illegal detention.

On the morning of December 24, detention center head Tian Guilu, political head Fu Jianjun, and doctor Zhen Yuan force-fed Ms. Jia, who had been on a hunger strike for eight days and was already very weak. She was forced to wear the same torture instruments and foot shackles. The guards said they would unlock the shackles only when she agreed to eat. Fu Jianjun once again dragged the very weak Jia Shuxiang out and barbarically force-fed her on the afternoon on December 25. Fu Jianjun said that if Ms. Jia did not willingly eat, she would be force-fed every day, and she would have to pay 25 yuan each time.

After the torturous force-feeding, Ms. Jia had little strength left. She threw up blood and had trouble breathing. Her stomach was also in a great deal of pain. At present, she has become emaciated and is in critical condition. Ms. Liu Xiuyun suffered two heart attacks as a result of the persecution. Ms. Zheng Derong threw up every day and is also very weak.
