Falun Gong Warmly Welcomed in Philadelphia during Independence Day Celebration (Photos)

anniversary of American independence. Philadelphia was the first
capital of the United States and the city in which the Declaration
of Independence was drafted. The city celebrates Independence Day
in a big way and over the course of several days.
Texas: Divine Land Marching Band Receives Award at Independence Day Parade (Photo)
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners participated in
the Independence Day Parade as the only Asian American group on
Independence Parkway in Plano, Texas, on July 4, 2011. Their
precise and graceful procession, including the Divine Land Marching
Band and a float, became the focus of attention at the parade. The
band won the award for “Best Music” in the parade.
Sri Lanka: Practitioners Journey Far to Share Falun Dafa with the People of Matara (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) On June 26, 2011, practitioners from
central Sri Lanka traveled to Matara, a large city on the southern
coast of Sri Lanka, to introduce Falun Dafa to the local people. It
was a 15-hour round trip journey to Matera and back. They left at 4
o’clock in the morning and returned home at 2:30 the next morning.
Because there is a practitioner temporarily living in Matara,
practitioners from central Sri Lanka went there to help this
practitioner introduce Falun Dafa in an area where most of the
inhabitants had never had the opportunity to learn about the
practice.
