(Minghui.org) May 13, 2012, the twentieth anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction, is coming soon. It's a magnificent occasion that brings vitality and hope to all sentient beings. The Minghui website has called for submissions to commemorate this occasion. We all feel a sense of mission and responsibility, and many practitioners have thought of writing cultivation experience articles to validate the wonder of Dafa. This is also an opportunity to communicate with our compassionate Teacher, who saves sentient beings with His mighty power. However, some fellow practitioners, hindered by their human notions, said, “I don't know what to write.”
I was also hindered by human notions when I submitted an article to the Minghui website for the first time. It was in 2010, when the Minghui website had called for submissions to commemorate the eleventh anniversary of Falun Dafa Day. I was at a loss as to what to say several times while attempting to write my article, and I also felt that I didn't know how to write well. One fellow practitioner encouraged me: “Don't worry about whether you can write well or not. Just write down whatever you truly have in your mind. No special words are necessary.” I thought that Teacher was encouraging me through this practitioner's words.
During that period of time, I was caring for my granddaughter, who was less than one year old. I couldn't write during the day at all and had to wait until evening, when my family returned home to take care of her. However, when I wrote at night, my family complained that the light disturbed their sleep. I shut off the light so as not to bother them. I moved the mouse with my left hand so that I could see the keyboard under the dim light from the mouse. I typed the words one by one with my right hand. I worked on that experience sharing article every night from 9 p.m. to midnight, when it was time to send forth righteous thoughts. It took me seven nights to finish the article. I held only one pure thought in mind--that it was my mission and responsibility to validate the wonder of Dafa. I knew I must finish the article! Actually, I never expected that it would be published. However, to my surprise it was published on the Minghui website. Moreover, it was published in the special edition. I was close to 60 years old at the time and had no special skills in writing. It was my first time to submit an article to the Minghui website.
Since then, I have submitted articles many times and most of them have been published. Some of the articles were selected for Minghui Weekly. From then on, I never had a feeling of not knowing how to write experience sharing articles. I want to express my thanks to Teacher and fellow practitioners, with whose help I've made a great leap forward in the journey of validating the Fa.
I would like to say to fellow practitioners who always think, “I don’t know how to write,” please do not walk the path of being hindered by human notions. Pick up your pen! As long as we have one thought of validating the Fa, we can break through any obstacle and make anything possible. Teacher is beside us all the time and has prepared everything for us. We just need to go ahead and take action.
Teacher said,
“Cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one’s master.”(Zhuan Falun)
I often encounter interference while writing articles. While working on this article, the electricity in our community powered off. It rarely happens. The evil is covetously watching us and attempting to take advantage of any loophole. I sent forth one righteous thought, “Teacher is here. The Fa is here. How dare you harm me?” Suddenly, I felt surrounded by a field of energy and very comfortable. My computer still had a small percentage of battery left and under the dim light illuminating from the mouse, I finished this article. I was forced to type much slower than usual, but I finished the article just the same. This goes to show that no matter how the old forces interfere, Dafa practitioners’ determination to validate the Fa will never be shaken!
