(Minghui.org) I started the practice of Falun Dafa in 1995, and all of my diseases disappeared soon after that. Many miraculous things have happened during my cultivation practice. The following account shows that Falun Dafa is honorable and teaches people to be good.
I was put in jail when I refused to give up my practice of Falun Dafa. In November 2001, I started a small business selling tofu after I was released. One day when I was really busy, I accepted a 100-dollar bill that turned out to be counterfeit. I was very worried at first, because it was very hard to make a living selling tofu. It would take me quite a few days to make 100 dollars, but I remembered what our Master taught us, that we should behave according to the principals of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I decided to destroy the forged bill even though it was a hard decision for me.
Some of the people nearby said, “Falun Dafa is definitely good. We would have tried our best to spend that counterfeit bill rather than suffer the loss." Word of this incident spread, and many people knew about it. They changed their attitude about me and started to admire the virtue of Falun Dafa practitioners.
Not long after, I was given another counterfeit bill. This time a person who appeared quite well dressed cheated me. I asked myself what I should do about it. My family’s financial situation was very bad, and I had already lost 100 dollars that month. At that moment a person next to me said, “I am willing to give you 70 dollars in exchange for the fake bill. Even if I give you 20 dollars, at least you will receive some compensation for the loss." I still decided to destroy the counterfeit bill and suffer the monetary loss, because I am a Falun Dafa practitioner.
One day a woman from town bought tofu from me. I told her the truth about Falun Dafa. The next day she came again, claiming that the 50-dollar bill I had given her in change was a fake. She thought that a Falun Dafa practitioner would be afraid of the police, so she threatened to call them if I did not give her 50 dollars. Just then, my 12-year-old son showed up and said, “My mom would not spend the counterfeit money someone gave her, so how could she give you a fake bill? She has already destroyed two fake bills given to her." On hearing this, although from a child, the woman felt guilty and slipped away quietly.
I have shared my experience because I want to tell everyone that Falun Dafa practitioners are good people. Many Chinese people didn’t expect the Communist Party to use television, newspaper, radio, and the Internet to slander Falun Dafa nationwide. I really hope Chinese people do not listen to these lies and that they learn the truth about Falun Dafa.
