(Minghui.org) In the past several years, Ms. Liu Yanfeng from Wuxue, Hubei Province, has cared for relatives' children in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province. On November 27, 2012, at about 7 p.m., she was taken away from her relatives' home by officers from the Xierlu Police Station.
At that time, five police officers—four men and one woman—broke into the home of Ms. Liu Yanfeng's relatives. They deceived Ms. Liu and said they would allow her to return after having a talk. However, when her relatives went to the police station to ask about her, they were told that Ms. Liu had been taken back to Wuxue. Now she is being detained in the Wuxue Detention Center.
This is the third time that Ms. Liu, in her 40s, has been detained.
Back in October 2004 when Ms. Liu was visiting a friend, the police broke into her friend's home and arrested them both. Ms. Liu was detained for a month.
Ms. Liu was seized by police officer Xu Xuewen and her home was ransacked during the 2011 Chinese New Year. She was detained for about two months. She fainted on the night of her release and twice the next day. The school fired her soon after. Ms. Liu's husband had always wanted a son, so he took this opportunity to divorce Ms. Liu against her will. Ms. Liu and her teenage daughter then became homeless. She did physical labor for a living. She and her daughter depended on each other and lived a very poor life.
Because of the persecution, Ms. Liu lost her job and her husband divorced her. She and her daughter have no home and no way to make a living. She earns money babysitting. Her daughter became depressed because of her parents' divorce.
