Despite what the Chinese authorities would have the world believe, endemic abuse of both human rights and freedom of belief continue to this day in China. Falun Gong practitioners continue to be arbitrarily arrested, sentenced to prison and forced labor, and taken to brainwashing centers, tortured to renounce their beliefs.
