(Minghui.org) Many serious crimes against Falun Gong practitioners have been committed in Qianjin Forced Labor Camp in Harbin. Although the labor camp has since been dismantled, those involved in the persecution will still be held accountable.
Among those cruelly tortured in the camp was Ms. Liang Yan.
When personnel from the 610 Office came to inspect the camp on the morning of November 21, 2012, guards ordered Ms. Liang to criticize Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong, in front of the inspectors. She refused, telling them she enjoyed good health after she began practicing Falun Gong, and she wouldn't do anything against her conscience.
Guard Cong Zhixiu then took her to a small room, and several officers beat her violently for a long time.
Torture re-enactment: Shocking with an electric baton
Team leader Wang Min held Ms. Liang down, opened up her collar at the back of her neck, and pushed a long electric baton inside her shirt to shock her back. She lost consciousness.
Three officers then dragged her to a bathroom, made her sit on the cold floor, and stripped her naked. They poured cold water over her face and chest and continued shocking her back and arms.

Officer Liu Xianyu kept poking her in the chest with a filthy mop to try to force her to answer the 610 Office inspectors' questions. When she refused, Wang Min poured another basin of cold water over the top of her head, then shocked her again.
Ms. Liang was shaking so hard she couldn't speak.
Ms. Liang subsequently often fainted during the day while working in the workshop. At night she had pain in her ribs for a long time, and for the next six months she felt dizzy.
When Ms. Liang told the inmates in the workshop about how she was tortured, they were all indignant.
Police Use Tear Gas When Arresting Practitioners
Ms. Liang and other practitioners got together to talk about their cultivation experiences on November 21, 2011. They finished around mid-day and were about to go home.
As they opened the door, police officers shoved their way in and fired tear gas at them. The practitioners could not open their eyes and kept coughing. The police pulled them into the police van and took them to the Shuangcheng Police Patrol Division.
They were forced to line up in a row while the police took their photos. Many of them refused to reveal their names. The interrogation continued until well after midnight. The practitioners were later taken to Harbin No. 2 Detention Center, where Ms. Liang was stripped naked and searched.
About a month later, Ms. Liang and 16 other practitioners were taken to Qianjin Forced Labor Camp to serve two years of forced labor.
As soon as they arrived on December 20, 2011, guard Wang Min forced them to put on prison uniforms and cut their hair short. The next day, they were ordered to write the three statements. The officers had already written out the statements and told the practitioners to copy them. When the practitioners refused, the police punched and kicked them. When they still refused, the officers shocked them with electric batons and tortured them.
A week later, the officers ordered the practitioners to do hard labor. If they failed to finish their assigned workloads on time, the cell head used a variety of means to punish them, such as forcing them to stand still for long periods of time, not letting them brush their teeth, and denying showers. Ms. Liang was once forced to work until the early morning hours before she was allowed to sleep.
Ms. Liang was released in August 2013, after Qianjin Forced Labor Camp was decommissioned. When she got home, she found that all her Dafa books, her computer, over 20,000 yuan in cash, another personal belongs had been confiscated by the police. Her relatives managed to get 16,000 yuan back for her, but the police refused to return the rest of the money and her other personal belongs.
