(Minghui.org) Frankfurt, Germany, has one of the busiest airports in Europe and hosts many trade fairs and events every year. More and more Chinese tourists can be seen on the streets, especially on weekends.
Falun Gong practitioners set up a table next to St. Paul's Church to raise awareness and help Chinese people renounce their memberships to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. Many Chinese tourists who visited the table had already withdrawn from the CCP inside China or in other countries, but stopped to get information for their friends and help them quit the Party too.
Many Chinese people who stopped at the booth had a good understanding of the situation in China and expressed their support and admiration for Falun Gong practitioners' efforts.
The following are stories of such encounters that took place at this truth clarification site:
Three young Chinese men came to the truth clarification site together, one of them warmly greeted a Falun Gong practitioner, and said, "I've long quit the CCP." Another echoed him, "Me, too." Both of them pointed at the third young man who kept silent, "He hasn't quit, please talk to him about quitting the CCP, too!"
"Your friends are worried that you'll lag behind!" The practitioner said to the third young man, and then told him about the CCP's history of killing, especially its brutal persecution of Falun Gong.
The young man kept nodding his head while listening to the practitioner, and finally solemnly nodded and agreed to quit the CCP. His friends were so happy that they made thumbs-up gestures. Three of them heartily thanked the practitioner, with one of them making the Heshi gesture of respect (palms pressed together in front of the chest).
One day, a group of tourists from Shandong Province, China arrived in a big tour bus when a Falun Gong practitioner was distributing informational materials in the parking lot.
One tourist from the group told the practitioner that his best friend, who is a Falun Gong practitioner, had helped him quit the CCP organizations. He talked with the practitioner and wanted to learn more.
Another tourist from the same tour group was also listening to their conversation, and waved to other tourists who just got off the tour bus and said, "Come on over and listen to her, you can't get this information in China."
He asked the practitioner to repeat what she had just said. All the tourists accepted a newspaper from her and many of them decided to quit the CCP.
A practitioner came across a lady at the entrance to a Chinese restaurant, and the lady told the practitioner that for so many years she has seen Falun Gong practitioners distributing informational materials. "I've been unable to understand how these practitioners keep persevering," she asked.
"The strength stems from our cherishing of the Chinese compatriots." The practitioner answered, "We hope people in China will learn the facts, free from the CCP's lies, and follow heaven's will and escape from catastrophe."
"Quitting the CCP is for one's own safety," the practitioner continued, "This is the driving force for us to be persistent, rain or shine." The lady smiled in admiration.
"It's wonderful that you have such faith!" the lady said.
A retired professor in his 70s told a practitioner that the CCP had persecuted him twice, and he has clearly seen the CCP for what it is, so he has never joined in the CCP organizations.
"I'm aware of the persecution of Falun Gong," he said. "I believe that Falun Gong's reputation will be restored!"
He appreciated the practitioners' effort to distribute the informational materials and talk to people about the facts and expose the CCP's lies.
"Thank you for all that you've done for the people in China. Good luck to Falun Gong!" he said.
When a practitioner was telling a group of Chinese tourists that those who persecute Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance must be wicked and violent, an elderly couple kept nodding their heads.
Later the husband told the practitioner that he once attended Master Li's lectures in 1993, but unfortunately, he only went for two days, and he let his son attend in his place for the remaining days.
He recalled, “Most of the people attending the lectures were senior military officials with guards escorting them. They drove cars with military license plates.”
"When Master Li was giving lectures, the entire conference hall of more than 2,000 people was so quiet that there was not even a little noise. I was in awe," he said.
The man finally quit the CCP and happily said good-bye to the practitioners.
