“Who Believes in the Chinese Communist Party in This Day and Age?”
The village cadres in Xitan, Henan Province, were given orders from their superior to organize a seminar for the Party members. The event was promoted for many days, but they didn't get much interest. They ended up having to hire a group of elderly men and women at 20 yuan a day so that they could report back to their superiors that the seminar had been held. The older folks would often fall asleep during the seminar and it concluded after just a few days.
Many of the participants commented, “Who believes in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in this day and age?”
We Are Not Interested in Becoming Party Members
I recently encouraged four people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I didn't have a pen or a piece of paper to write down their names. I went to a nearby supermarket and a young computer clerk helped me.
After I wrote down their names, I thanked the clerk and gave him back the pen. I asked if he had joined the Party and its affiliated organizations. He said he was not a member and was not interested in becoming one, either.
I then asked if he had ever worn the red scarf that denotes one as a member of the Young Pioneers (an affiliate of the CCP). He told me that he did when he was in school. I said, “I suggest that you quit the Young Pioneers and ask the heavens to protect you.” He agreed and gave me his name. I said, “You are a wise young man. Should you ever encounter any tribulations or crisis, just recite 'Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,' and you will avoid misfortune.” He assured me that he would and thanked me.
I met a young woman that worked in an office while I was buying candy at a supermarket. She mentioned that she was buying some candy for her mother. I said, “You are such a good daughter. By the way, are you a Party member?” She replied, “There is no way I would join the Party!” We exchanged a few words and then she agreed to quit the Party's affiliated organizations. I suggested that she recite 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!' to avoid future calamities.
“We Are Not Party Members, so Why Are You Deducting Party Membership Fees from Our Paychecks?”
Not many people in China today believe in the Communist Party or want to join its organizations. Those who join the Party are using their membership to move up in their careers and profit from it. The Party is desperate and has resorted to adding members using unscrupulous methods.
A 70-year-old retired elementary school teacher shared a story with me. She has two daughters in their 30s that teach junior high school. One month when they got their paychecks, the amount was less than usual. They asked the accounting department why and were told that Party membership fees had been deducted from their paychecks.
The teachers informed the accounting department that they were not Party members and the membership fees should not be taken out of their paychecks. The accounting department said that the school principal was the one who authorized the deduction.
When the ladies talked to the principal, he said that he added them to the Party organization. They were puzzled because they had never filed an application to join the Party. The principal admitted that he had written the applications and the letters of intention himself.
The elderly woman said, “The Party is having to drag people into its ranks! My husband, son, and son-in-law are all Party members. I want you to help them quit the Party. I'm going to write down their names for you.” I said, “It is better if you ask for their permission first. They must agree to quit. This is a serious matter as it affects people's lives. The heavens are watching everything we do. ” She replied, “Don't worry, they will listen to me.”
