(Minghui.org) In the latest round of unlawful Falun Gong practitioner arrests, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has preyed on defenseless women in Tianjin who have done nothing wrong. Police from Binhai New District arrested many practitioners in May and June, 2014, most of them older women, including a valued employee, retired professionals, and a couple with their sister-in-law.
Ms. Long Shan left her home at 5:00 p.m on June 27, and didn't return home that night. At around midnight, six officers from the Caojiabao Police Station broke into the home and confiscated their personal belongings, including Falun Dafa books and DVDs.
Ms. Long was entrusted with company property which the intruders also took, including documents, a cell phone, a book of accounts, receipts, and a company bank card. The police pushed Ms. Long's 74-year old mother to the floor, and held her so she couldn't move.
The police officers falsely identified themselves as being from the Xinhe Police Station, not Caojiabao. When Ms. Long's relatives found them at the Caojiabao police station, they claimed they could not authorize Ms. Long's release. Her case had already been submitted to the preliminary interrogation section.
Ms. Long Shan, 37, was a good student both in character and scholarship when she was young. She worked hard after joining the company. When the company had financial difficulties, she stayed. Her manager thinks highly of her.
Ms. Long's mother also practices Falun Gong, and began practicing in 1996. Originally from Henan Province, she has been arrested on two occasions by local police there. She escaped from Henan local police supervision and moved to her daughter's home in Tianjin. After this latest incident, Ms. Long's mother has been forced to become homeless to avoid arrest.
Ms. Gao Shuli and Ms. Xu Guomin were arrested in a community area near Xinhualu Overpass Bridge in Binhai New District on the afternoon of June 27, 2014.
Before she began practicing Falun Gong, Ms. Gao, 53, was partially paralyzed. She couldn't raise one of her arms, and her fingers were stiff. She couldn't even do housework. After she started practicing Falun Dafa, she could again use her arm and fingers. She can now do housework and work outside.
Ms. Xu was detained in a forced labor camp for one year in 2000, and imprisoned again for three years in 2008.
The Binhai New District Domestic Security Division was directed by the Tianjin Police Department to dispatch ten uniformed police officers and six plainclothes officers on June 13, 2014, to arrest six practitioners, including Ms. Li Shuxia, Ms. Han Wenmin, and four other Falun Gong practitioners.
The Shenli, Gangbei, and Shanggulin police stations joined the action. Four practitioners were released that night. Ms. Li Shuxia, in her sixties, who is a retired elementary school teacher, is still being held. Ms. Han Wenmin is under criminal internment.
Officers from the Tanggu Branch Police Department and the Tanggu Domestic Security Division in Binhai New District, accompanied by officers from the Hujiayuan Police Station, broke into Mr. Chen Guoliang's home at about 1:00 p.m. on May 27, 2014.
Mr. Chen, his wife Ms. Wang Guirong, and sister-in-law Ms. Wang Ping were arrested because they went to Dagang to send righteous thoughts. The police ransacked Mr. Chen's home and confiscated a large number of their belongings.
