(Minghui.org) Ms. He Xianzhen (何先珍) is in critical condition as a result of being tortured in Sichuan Province Women's Prison. The prison said that Ms. He had a stroke on December 19, 2014, so she was taken to intensive care unit at Jianyang City People's Hospital. The doctors operated on her head and back, and she is now in a coma.
Ms. He, in her 60s, is from Xichang City, Sichuan Province. She was held in District No. 3 of the Sichuan Province Women's Prison, where she was subjected to tremendous physical and mental torture. The prison personnel attempted to “transform” her by using high-pressure techniques to make her stop practicing Falun Dafa, and tried to force her to defame the practice and its teacher, Mr Li Hongzhi.
Following Ms. He's arrest on September 23, 2009, for distributing information about Falun Dafa, she was tortured at the Xichang City Detention Center and later hospitalized. Still, the Xichang City Court tried her based on fabricated charges on May 13, 2014, and subsequently sentenced her to 10 years in prison on September 14, 2010.
