(Minghui.org) I obtained the Fa in June 1996 and since then I have had my ups and downs. But I have come to realize that “Falun Dafa is wonderful! Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful.”

I experienced the power of Dafa and have used my pen for many years to tell the world about Dafa.

Also, there is much I have seen and experienced over the years. I have learned that if I expose the persecution of Falun Dafa in our local area on the Minghui website I do my share of truth clarification about Dafa.

Looking for Health

My wife is one of eight children whose parents had financial difficulties. Therefore, she had a rough childhood. After we got married we spent little time together because I worked out of town.

During her pregnancy she developed rheumatoid arthritis. Her right side muscle became atrophied, there were bulges from her bone joints, and her bone joints had become deformed. Acupuncture did not work nor did treatments at various hospitals. She was always in pain and could not touch cold water among other problems.

She hoped that practicing Buddhism would help. Instead after more than 20 years of taking up the practice, her health had deteriorated even more.

Falun Dafa Worked Wonders

One of her friends asked her to try out Falun Dafa in May 1996. The name Falun Dafa rang a bell in her mind and liftet her spirit. She learned the exercises, bought the Dafa books and has not stopped since, despite the persecution.

The exercises made her feel better and within three months she felt like a newborn. Her skin became soft, her appetite improved and she could eat anything.

Every practitioner around me said that they feel so healthy since they practice Dafa. They only keep Teacher in their heart and Dafa on their mind. They are guided in everything they do or say by Teacher's Fa. They live by the Dafa principles Truth-Compassion-Forbearance.

Write the Facts About the Persecution

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began to persecute Falun Dafa in July 1999. The CCP minions used the media to defame and slander Falun Dafa. They fabricated news to deceive and incite hatred in the Chinese people.

Master said,

The divine pens deter those demons in human skinLike sharpened blades, they extirpate rotten spiritsThe old forces pay not the Fa its due respectWielding the brush you shall subdue the surge of madness(“Deterrence” in Hong Yin Volume II)

After I read this poem, my eyes were filled with tears and I asked myself if Teacher wanted me to use my pen to clarify the facts about Dafa. I will do what Teacher had chosen for me and write down the facts about the persecution. I walked from this day on the path of writing articles to expose the CCP's persecution.

I knew that the path would be bumpy. It is difficult to break through one's post-natal notions. But I was determined to walk on the this path.

Teacher Gave me Wisdom

To submit an article to Minghui over the Internet one has to be able to type. At the beginning, I relied on practitioners to type and e-mail the articles. There were only very few people who could type because we lived in a rural area. These people were needed at the material production site and it was difficult for them to accept another task. Therefore, I decided that I would learn to type and computer skills.

This was not easy, especially for someone in his 70s with a low education level. At the beginning, I had no idea what pinyin (Chinese phonetic) is. Someone suggested me to use a hand-writing recognition electronic device, so I bought a laptop and the device.

I held the laptop, something I had never seen in my life and asked Teacher to please open up my wisdom. I turned on the laptop, and tried to learn how to move a mouse. I realized I needed a book that told me the rudiments of what I needed.

Through self-study, I learned a lot about how to use a computer, as well as a Chinese character input methods within 10 days. I learned to type and what I needed to publish my articles within a month. Teacher gave me the wisdom to learn all I needed within a short time.

Learned to Surf the Minghui Website

The next obstacle was how to send my articles to the Minghui editors. Teacher again recognized my need and I met a practitioner who was well versed in the computer technology.

There was so much he taught me in a short time. I was able to install the software needed to break through the Internet blockade. Then, I was able to open the Minghui website.

I saw immediately the picture of Teacher sitting quietly in the mountains for the first time and was extremely excited. I said to Teacher: “Teacher, I am finally seeing you!”

The practitioner helped me set up a secure email account, so that I could e-mail all my articles to the Minghui editors.

Process of Exposing Persecutors in my Area

In our area, the evil has been very rampant. As a Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple, one can not let this continue. One must do what one can to expose the persecution. However, something looks easy on the surface but is difficult to carry out at times.

A fellow practitioner was persecuted for a long time. He left home to avoid arrest, but was arrested again. It was crystal-clear that one should expose this persecution in a timely manner. However, this practitioner's family did not agree, out of the concern that it was not safe to reveal anything about this practitioner.

The practitioner's family did not agree for me to publish articles about him until the persecutors told them that they would transfer him to a forced labor camp. We had missed the best time for exposing this persecution.

Because of this incident I understood that when it comes to this kind of article, it is not only a matter of getting going, but also a xinxing issue and of improving together.

Opportunity to Expose Persecutors Missed

Another practitioner was arrested, but his family did not allow fellow practitioners to intervene. As a result, they missed the best opportunity to have the persecution exposed. On the surface, it seemed that one article did not get published. But, in essence, the opportunity to expose the persecutors was missed. In other dimensions, the battle between good and evil was missed.

Because the persecution was not exposed the loss was enormous. The people in our area did not hear the truth, allowing the bad elements continue to persecute good people.

The reason for this situation is because one is not clear on the Fa. It's not necessarily because one's education level is limited, or one lacks the rudiments of grammar. If an article is not written or published, we had an omission, or we did something wrong. It is not a small thing.

We did not follow what Teacher said. For that, I felt very regretful.

An article is not entirely written by someone, but rather a reflection of one's cultivation. When I run into this kind of conflict, I need to understand it from the standpoint of the Fa, and look within by using the Fa as the guiding principle.

I have written many articles to the Minghui website to expose the evil and validate the Fa. A practitioner told me a few days ago that her relative told her that my articles to expose the persecution in our local area were made into sticky notes and put up all over the streets. The persecutors are afraid.

I understood that this message from her relative who lives over hundreds of miles away, is an encouragement from Teacher.
