(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 9 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 9 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Jingshan County, Hubei Province] Mr. Xiang Kelin Tried
The Jingshan Court tried Mr. Xiang Kelin on the morning of July 3, 2015, without informing his wife. Mr. Xiang is still being held at the Jingshan No. 1 Detention Center.
2. [Beijing] Four Falun Gong Practitioners Tried
The Fangshan District Court put Ms. Yang Qiuying, Ms. Li Shuangli and Mr. Hu Qinggui on trial on July 8, 2015. Mr. Zhang Jiguo was tried the next day.
Mr. Zhang, 53, was arrested on October 15, 2014, for talking to people about Falun Gong. He was detained in the Fangshan Detention Center.

Ms. Wang Xin, Ms. Guo Xiuping and Ms. Bai Yuanxian were tried on July 8, 2015.
4. [Beijing] Mr. Ma Jian Put on Trial
The Pinggu District Court put Mr. Ma Jian on trial on July 9, 2015. Mr. Ma's father, Mr. Ma Zhanquan, was arrested for distributing calendars in January 2015. Zhanquan is being held at the Pinggu Detention Center.

5. [Jingshan County, Hubei Province] Ms. Shang Qifeng Arrested
Ms. Shang Qifeng was arrested on the afternoon of June 30, 2015.
6. [Xian, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Su Shaohua Arrested
Mr. Su Shaohua was arrested on July 4, 2015, and his home was ransacked.
7. [Chenzhou, Hunan Province] Ms. Wen Ling Arrested
Ms. Wen Ling went to the Exit and Entry Hall in the Chenzhou Police Department on the morning of July 6, 2015. She wanted to retrieved her permit to Hong Kong and Macau which was confiscated earlier. She was arrested.
8. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Mr. Jiang Hanqian Detained
Officers from the Domestic Security Division of Wuchang District Police Department took Mr. Jiang Hanqian to the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center at 1 a.m. on July 2, 2015.
9. [Bin County, Heilongjiang Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Wang Lianquan and Ms. Sun Baozhen were reported and arrested for talking to people about Falun Gong in Xindian Town on July 5, 2015. Ms. Sun was released that evening. Mr. Wang is being held at the Bin County No. 2 Detention Center.
10. [Shenmu County, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Gao Xiaoke Detained
Mr. Gao Xiaoke was arrested by officers from the Xian Police Department on the night of July 4, 2015. He is being held at the Yanta District No. 1 Detention Center.
11. [Beijing] Ms. Cui Suhong Detained
Ms. Cui Suhong was arrested in a market on Fengheying Street in the Daxing District of Beijing on the morning of July 5, 2015. She is being held at the Beijing Detention Center for a 15-day term.
Ms. Cui is from Dongjianta Village, Guangyang District, Langfang City, Hebei Province.

12. [Changling County, Jilin Province] Mr. Yao Zhenwen and Ms. Wang Shuying Arrested
Officers from the Changling Police Department and the Jubao Township Police Station ransacked Mr. Yao Zhenwen's home some time between April and May 2015.
Pei Yunqing and Zhao Hongqing from the Domestic Security Division and Sun Baosen from the Yubao Township Police Station picked up Mr. Yao on the morning of June 16, 2015. He was held for five days until he was forced to write a guarantee statement.
The police arrested Ms. Wang Shuying from Changling County at the end of June. She was released a few days later.
13. [Tianjin] Tianjin Women's Prison Deprived Ms. Wang Guirong's Rights of Being Visited
Ms. Wang Guirong from the Binhaixin District was arrested in May 2014. She was sentenced to three years in prison by the Binhaixin District Court.
Ms. Wang was taken to the Tianjin Women's Prison in April 2015. Her family members went to visit her in May and June, but the guards did not permit them to see her unless they wrote a guarantee statement.
14. [Fushun, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Peng Yue and other officers from the Fushun Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Zhang Shouhui, Ms. Xu Ping, Ms. Jin Fengzhi, and Ms. Qin Yongmei on May 24, 2015. They arrested Ms. Ma Siyuan, who went to Qingyuan County to visit friends, the next day.

15. [Chifeng, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Bao Zhiqin Arrested
Ms. Bao Zhiqin from the Hongshan District went to the Beikou Post Office in Dashilan to mail her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin on the morning of July 6, 2015. Postal employees reported her, and four or five police officers took her away.

16. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Sumei Tortured
Ms. Wang Sumei was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2008. She has been detained in the Liaoning Women's Prison, where she was brutally tortured. The guards tied her up and beat her, force-fed her, etc. She is now in the prison hospital.
17. [Hengshui, Hebei Province] Hengshui 610 Office Interferes to Stop the Suits Being Filed against Jiang Zemin
Mr. Wang Jinling and his wife Ms. Xin Mingru mailed their lawsuits Jiang Zemin. The people in charge where they work asked about it on July 6, 2015. They were aghast to learn how the couple has been persecuted over the past 16 years.
The Hengshui 610 Office pressured the management where to couple worked to monitor them. The other employees could not understand why the couple should be monitored, because they understood that filing a complaint is a right and does not violate any regulation.
18. [Gaomi, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Sentenced
Mr. Shan Yicheng was sentenced to 7 years in prison in June 2015, while Mr. Du Qihai, Mr. Liu Wenming and Ms. Jing Xiuling were each sentenced to 3 years.
19. [Qingdao, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Sentenced
Ms. Chen Guangxia was sentenced to four years' imprisonment with five years' probation in June 2015. Mr. Zhang Menglei was sentenced to three years in prison.
20. [Chongqing] Ms. Xiao Shaogui Tried a Second Time
The Yongchuan District Court tried Ms. Xiao Shaogui on May 27, 2015. The court recently issued a subpoena, saying the second hearing was scheduled for July 21, 2015.
Ms. Xiao sent her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin on June 26, 2015. The tracking record showed that the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the court received her indictment the next day.
Ms. Xiao's indictment recorded the brutal persecution she had suffered. She was arrested on October 16, 2007 and detained in a forced labor camp for one year. She was arrested again in October 2009 and held in a forced labor camp for two years. Her most recent arrest took place on May 17, 2014. She was paralyzed after a bad fall in the detention center.
