(Minghui.org) Observing practitioners in our area made me question if some of them really believe in the Fa.
I recall one situation where practitioner A wanted to find a particular coordinator and asked practitioner B if they knew of this person's whereabouts. Practitioner A was not aware that this coordinator was in court.
Practitioner C, a veteran practitioner, had been bedridden for quite some time with sickness karma and her situation had worsened. Practitioner A believed that the coordinator could help and so wanted to find them.
Practitioner B suggested that the sick person needed to study the Fa more and find her deeply rooted attachments, saying, “The key is to improve xinxing and she needs to resolve it on her own.”
“Yes, but the coordinator is very good at explaining things,” responded practitioner A. “We love to hear her talk. It would be great to have her talk to the veteran practitioner. I'm certain she would then recover soon.”
Practitioner B informed them of the coordinator's situation and said that they were in court.
Practitioner A was shocked, but after thinking things through replied, “We rely on the coordinator so much that it has brought her problems. Whenever something happened, we always looked for her. We believed in her more than the Fa.”
“I was wrong to suggest that the coordinator's words would cure the veteran practitioner's ailments.” practitioner A added.
Sometime later, practitioner B ran into the coordinator, who spoke about her ordeal: “I realized that I had a loophole and therefore was targeted by the persecution. I found that I had an attachment to fame and showing off. I thought I was helping fellow practitioners, but I found that what I said was not based on the Fa. I misled them.”
