(Minghui.org) Fellow practitioners recently shared their insights regarding their difficulties in clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa as well as in convincing people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates.

I started to clarify the truth in person in 2016 after I finished other long-term Dafa projects. I had a lot of human notions, including being fearful and an introvert. Although I tried really hard, I was only able to convince about three people to quit the Party. I got frustrated at not making any progress after a month.

Master saw my wish to disseminate the Fa, so he arranged a few very experienced practitioners to meet up with me. They shared their experiences and suggested that local fairs are a great opportunity to talk to people about Dafa.

Clarifying the Truth about Dafa

Before I went to one of the largest local fair on February 2, 2016, I asked Master to help me get of rid of my notions.

When I got to the fair, all I saw were security guards and police—no other practitioners. I thought that Master did not want me to develop the attachment to relying on others and knew that I needed to let go of my fears, so I sent forth righteous thoughts and started to hand out informational materials.

While handing out the materials, I talked to people about quitting the CCP and convinced 12 people to quit. Throughout my time at the fair, I was calm, held no fear, and did not leave until the fair ended.

Some people agreed with what I said, while others were rude. I ran into security guards but never had a problem.

This experience encouraged me, and I started to talk to people in my town about Dafa and quitting the CCP. I was able to convince more than 10 people every day.

Avoid Picking and Choosing

After the Chinese New Year, I went to another fair with four practitioners. It was a remote area, where we had not done much truth-clarification. The atmosphere was oppressive, as a few practitioners had been arrested there in the past. It made me have some bad notions.

The other practitioners melted into the crowd at the fair. I handed out a few brochures and convinced three people to quit the Party. But then I ran into a few people that were rude and I got a little nervous I sent forth righteous thoughts and felt a little better but was still not completely calm. Many people wouldn’t take what I offered, and I only convinced eight people to quit the Party.

After the fair, the others practitioners told me that each of them had convinced dozens of people to quit the Party. They did not select “likely” people to approach and did not worry about the person’s age or apparent status. They did not let the person’s attitude put them off. No wonder they were able to convince so many people to quit!

I realized that this was a true manifestation of benevolence and selflessness. Master said: “Saving people is just that, saving people, and to pick and choose would not be merciful.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2009 Greater New York International Fa Conference” from Teaching the Fa at the Conference IX).

I saw my shortcomings and understood that I needed to change. Going forward, I tried not to be selective when clarifying the truth in town. I did a little better, but improved slowly. I hoped to go to another fair, where I would have the opportunity to improve.

One Thought Changes Everything

I went by myself to the third fair. Before I left, I said to Master in my heart: “Master, please help me make a breakthrough. I need to convince more than 30 people to quit the Party today.” Although I knew my cultivation state was not good enough, I decided to try my best.

At the fair, I forgot all about my notions. It took only a few minutes to convince seven people to quit the Party. I did not run into a single rude person. I got a little overconfident.

“This is just the beginning,” I thought. “Look how many people are here today. I will be very successful. Definitely more than 30 people will quit the Party. Maybe I will surpass my fellow practitioners who have much more experience.”

That thought was wrong. Very soon I ran into some rude people. A guy threatened to call the police, and an elderly man followed me. I felt an overwhelming evil.

I stopped, sent forth righteous thoughts, and looked inward. I realized that I was being overzealous. I tried to eliminate it, calmed down, and then resumed talking to people. However, things did not go well. The fair ended at 11 a.m., but I only had convinced 16 people to quit the CCP. Also, the elderly man was still following me.

Achievement: Helping Fellow Practitioner

Instead of going home, I went to another fair with the same attitude I had that morning. By the time the fair ended, I had helped 31 people quit the Party.

This truly encouraged me, and it was much easier to talk to people in my town in the following days. I ws no longer selective about who to talk to, and I could convince a dozen people a day to quit the Party.

I went to a fair in a remote area by bus. At the bus stop I ran into two young female practitioners who wanted me to help them clarify the truth.

At the fair, one started to talk to people, while the other just observed. She said that she always just observed her fellow practitioner talking to people.

“Don't be afraid,” I said. “Master is watching you, and I will send forth righteous thoughts for you. Why don't you talk to the elderly people who look nice.” I helped her pick a few people.

She did try but without success. I looked inward and realized that I had promised to send forth righteous thoughts but had not done it. She talked to another man while I sent forth righteous thoughts. He quit the CCP.

“I should help her and focus on her,” I thought, “even if I can't talk to people. As long as she makes progress today, we will be stronger as a whole body.”

She then gained confidence and no longer needed my help. Although it was a small fair, I convinced 20 some people to quit the Party. But the real achievement was that I helped a fellow practitioner improve.

Cooperating and Helping Each Other

It is truly wonderful when I unconditionally help others. It appeared as if I had helped other practitioners, but, actually, they were helping me.

On the way home, I came to a new understanding of Master's teaching. It was an understanding from the angle of saving people. I heard a voice in my mind say to me clearly, ”Master is helping me fulfill my wish.”

My eyes were filled with tears, and every cell in my body was trembling. I was very touched, because Master is helping me. It is Master who arranges everything for me, including the details that I would never think of. All I needed was a pure a wish.

Without Master, what can I achieve? “With an everyday person’s body, an everyday person’s hands, and an everyday person’s mind, do you think that you can transform high-energy matter into gong or increase gong?” (Zhuan Falun)

I made great progress by going to local fairs and turned into a new person. I no longer worry about talking to people. I can easily convince dozens of people to quit the Party every day.

I used to choose who to speak to, and I avoided women, young people, and government officials. With all these notions, how could I tell people about Dafa? Now I am free of these notions.

I hope that fellow practitioners can get rid of their notions, step forward, and talk to people face to face.
