At famous tourist spots in Rio, visitors from all over the world were appalled as they watched re-enactments of tortures that Falun Gong practitioners suffer in China, and learned about organ harvesting atrocities murdering countless prisoners of conscience for their organs. Activities were also held in busy areas of São Paulo.
Several of the practitioners who participated in the rally had met Wang Zhiwen in China before the persecution began. One of them wanted to tell him not to give up.
Despite all their suffering during these past 17 years, the family has never lost hope.
