(Minghui.org) I'm a Falun Dafa practitioner in my seventies. I started cultivating Falun Dafa in 1995 and have always been one of the most senior practitioners in my area. I sincerely feel that Dafa is great. I wish others could benefit from it and that all fellow practitioners could advance diligently. Because of my enthusiasm, before I knew it I had started to coordinate group projects for validating the Fa. The following are a few examples of what we have done.
Falun Dafa Road
A township in my area has a one-mile-long dirt road leading to the highway. The road was very old and had many potholes due to lack of maintenance. On rainy days it was impossible to drive on it. People parked their cars on the road to block it as a protest to the government, but the local government took no action. Complaints were heard everywhere.
More than 30 Falun Dafa practitioners put our savings together and rented a truck and a bulldozer. With our own tools, we worked in 90-degree weather for two days to repair the road.
It took nine tons of sand and rocks to fill a huge pothole in front of one house. After we completed the work, the resident of the house was so touched that he wrote a poem for us and displayed it in front of his house. The poem reads,
“A road runs in front of my house, but it looks like swampPedestrians walk on the road, as if wading through a riverNo one cared to maintain itBut Dafa practitioners repaired the road and built up merit”
Local residents were very grateful for the road repair and called the road “Falun Dafa Road.” Drivers and pedestrians cried out, “Falun Dafa is great” whenever they saw a Falun Dafa practitioner. After we repaired the road, no one took down our posters saying “Falun Dafa Is Great.” Every household in that township area has now quit the communist organizations they had joined before!
“I Haven't Seen So Many People Harvest Together for Years!”
A fellow practitioner who is a farmer had an accident on the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2015 while on his way to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa. It was close to harvest time. The practitioner affected by the tribulation has elderly parents and a young daughter, so his wife was very worried about how they would complete their harvest.
One morning more than 100 Falun Dafa practitioners came to their farm to help with the harvest. Within one day we finished all the harvest work, moved the ears of corn to the barn, and piled up the rice.
Everyone in the village was surprised and praised Falun Gong. A villager said, “I haven't seen so many people harvest together for years!”
Finding Former Practitioners and Establishing Fa Study Groups
Because of the terrible persecution launched in July 1999, some villagers were too afraid to continue their cultivation. Some switched to other religions. Some fellow practitioners and I held a discussion on how to help them resume their cultivation and Fa study. We eventually went to visit all the villages in our area. One by one, we talked to our former fellow practitioners and helped them resume their cultivation and establish Fa study groups.
One former practitioner resisted our help at first. We didn't mind her bad attitude, and we visited her six times. Under Master's compassionate care, she finally awakened to the truth. She took Master's portrait out, burned incense sticks in front the portrait, and said in tears, “Master, I have come back!” We were all in tears.
Every village soon had a Fa study group, and all these practitioners joined the Fa rectification. Several of them visited all the households in their villages, clarified the facts about Dafa face-to-face, and helped people quit the communist organizations. With Master's strengthening power and our concerted efforts, almost every practitioner in our area filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin.
Thank you Master for your compassionate salvation! I'm determined to do well in my cultivation and walk straight on the final path of Fa rectification!
