(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Hualien City on Taiwan's East Coast held activities on Sunday, February 16, 2020, to raise awareness of the persecution in China and collect signatures for a petition to help end the atrocities.
They held their activities outside the Hualien Train Station, which is the main entry point for visitors to Hualien County. About 30 practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises along the roadside, and a group of practitioners later performed a traditional Chinese waist drum dance.
A couple who had recently immigrated from the United States to live in Taiwan stopped to take photos of the practitioners’ activities. The wife told practitioners she had often seen large-scale parades held by Falun Dafa practitioners in the U.S. She said she was happy to also see practitioners in Hualien City.

A practitioner asked a young male tourist who was walking past the train station, if he knew about Falun Dafa. He said yes, and said he admired practitioners’ tireless efforts to tell people what is happening in China. He encouraged practitioners to keep up the good work.
Mr. Li, a driver from Hualien City who regularly picks up passengers from the train station, listened carefully as practitioners explained that Falun Dafa practitioners' organs are illegally taken and sold for profit in China. Mr. Li said he had been reading media reports about the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, and it was obvious to him that the Chinese communist regime does not value human life.
Mr. Li, a driver who regularly picks up passengers at the train station, signed a petition to stop the persecution.
Two young men were asked if they knew about the state-sanctioned harvesting of organs from Falun Dafa practitioners in China. One of them said he knew about it through Facebook, and believes it is true. He quickly agreed to sign the petition. Practitioners gave the young men paper lotus flowers with information about Falun Dafa.
