(Minghui.org) I'm 82 years old and I've practiced Falun Dafa for more than twenty years. I didn't even finish elementary school so I'm not educated. I began practicing in 1996 after I attended a Falun Dafa workshop of Master's video lectures and I was taught the exercises. I bought a copy of Zhuan Falun. Whenever I've seen things through my third eye I understand that Master is encouraging me. The first time I opened the book to Lunyu, I was astonished to see the words sparkling. I realized that this was an extraordinary book. I told myself that I must treasure the teachings and cultivate diligently!
When I opened the book to Lecture One the space around the words became sky blue and the words were in zhuanti font (a traditional font). Every single stroke of the words, including the punctuation marks, were shaded with a sky blue background. I felt that each character was a Buddha statue, and every single page was a different level of the firmament.
I also saw the various colors of the spinning Falun adjusting my body and cleaning up my home environment. In 1998 as I was doing the sitting meditation at the group practice site, I saw the top part of my body turn into a gong column just as Master described in Zhuan Falun, and energy channels as wide as my thumb, tens of thousands of them, intersecting vertically and horizontally, and they were transparent.
Master said,
"With Wisdom Eyesight, you do not have the ability to see things through a wall or see through a human body, but you can see the scenes existing at other dimensions. What benefits does this have? It can enhance your confidence in the practice. When you indeed see something that everyday people cannot see, you will think that it certainly exists. Whether or not you can see something clearly at present, your celestial eye will be opened at this level, and this is good for your practice." (Lecture Two, Zhuan Falun)
I understood from the Fa that each time I saw scenes in other dimensions, Master was encouraging me to increase my confidence and to be more diligent. I also understood from the Fa that I should not be attached to the third eye, pursue it or be curious.
I became more confident in cultivation and I was very diligent. Other than doing the house chores, all my time was devoted to reading Zhuan Falun. I quickly memorized Lunyu. I enthusiastically joined the various activities to spread the goodness of Dafa everywhere.
Practitioners from other cities visited us. I said, "After learning Dafa, I learned to let go of my various attachments, take fame, personal benefits, and human emotions lightly. I have a house to live in now and I no longer fight for a share of my mother's house. My two sisters can have it all." The other practitioners felt that I had cultivated well. They asked me to help organize group reading and practice. There were about fifty people at my group practice. Every morning I went to the practice site ahead of time to get things ready. As soon as everyone arrived, I put on the music and the group exercises began.
I used to have all kinds of illnesses before I practiced Falun Dafa. Things like Meniere's syndrome, anemia, low blood pressure, and frequent dizziness, just to name a few. There were also periarthritis and gastritis. I also had intervenous injections twice a week.
The Persecution Begins
On the afternoon of July 19, 1999, as I was reading the section, The Attachment of Zealotry in Zhuan Falun, the word "seize" appeared red. I couldn't enlighten to Master's hint. That night, a practitioner from out-of-town called and said there would be massive arrests across China and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) would confiscate all our Dafa books. I contacted some practitioners without delay and we quickly moved more than two hundred copies of Master's lectures. Some policemen came to ransack my house but they didn't find anything because we'd already hidden the books. Then I remembered the word "seize" which was composed of two parts: "a hand" on the left and "a house" on the right. It was a hint from Master that we should move the Dafa books elsewhere. "Everyone must be sure to pay attention..." (Lecture Eight, Zhuan Falun)
The police abducted me and two coordinators and interrogated us. They asked how many practitioners were doing the exercises. We said we didn't know because we didn't have an attendance record. We said we didn't collect money and people could come and go freely. Everyone was trying to get healthy and to conduct themselves according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. We spent the night at the police station and were released the next morning.
We were abducted a second time. One policeman threatened me and said, "You will be fined and detained." I said, "We're good people. This punishment is illegal. I don't and can't accept it." At the beginning of the persecution, the regime focused on the volunteer assistants. When the nationwide persecution started it was extremely terrifying. We were under constant pressure. At that time, the fact that I could blurt out a few righteous words to resist the persecution was Master's blessing!
Master's Image Appeared on the Wall
The CCP's persecution of Falun Dafa is unprecedented, evil and brutal. Our cultivation environment was destroyed, and all practitioners met with severe tests. After July 20th, the CCP targeted me. My home phone was monitored. My house was illegally ransacked repeatedly. I was taken to a brainwashing class and forced to undergo brainwashing. I was also illegally detained.
After I began practicing I kept Master's image wearing a long golden kasaya on the wall at home. When the CCP ransacked my home, they took Master's image. One day, I stood in front of the wall where Master's image used to hang. I opened Zhuan Falun to the page that had Master's photo and said, “Master, please show your image on the wall.” The next day Master's image, wearing a blazer and a tie just like the image in Zhuan Falun, appeared on the wall, but it was much larger than in the book. The other practitioners came to my home to see it. Everyone was deeply inspired and encouraged because we felt that Master was with us. Even our friends and relatives that didn't practice saw it. Master's image could be seen on the wall for almost three years until I moved to a different location.
In 2001 the persecution was especially rampant. Some practitioners were under tremendous pressure and didn't dare to come out to do the exercises. I still kept up with Fa-study and did the exercises. One morning, as I was doing the sitting meditation, I saw through my third eye two rows of soldiers in ancient costumes standing opposite me. I heard a voice say, “We're soldiers from Heaven.” The next day when I did the first set of exercises and did, “Two Dragons Dive into the Sea” (Falun Gong), I saw through my third eye two tall water columns, and they looked like two dragons diving into the sea!
I frequently see the protective shield that Master casts over my room. In the winter it looks like a duvet (quilt), and in the summer, it's like silk, transparent and shiny. The persecution has been going on for more than twenty years. Throughout the years Master has always been by my side, giving me wisdom. No matter how crazy the persecution is, we must believe in Master and the Fa.
Righteous Thoughts Eliminate My Sickness Karma
In 2011, my mother fell and was injured. As a result, she couldn't take care of herself. I had to help her with everything including going to the bathroom. One night, she went to the bathroom more than ten times and after the numerous trips, I was exhausted. I couldn't move. My child took me to the hospital and they gave me a CT scan. The results showed that I had a herniated disc in several places and vertebral hyperplasia. The doctor told me to stay in the hospital for treatment, but I refused. My child consulted a famous orthopedic surgeon. When he saw my X-rays, he said, “This is very serious.”
As I lay in bed, I started to recite the Fa and asked Master to help me. When I sent righteous thoughts, I denied the old forces' persecution. I asked for a benevolent resolution to the karmic debts I owed. That night, I saw a worm, about two inches long, with a whisker-like appearance, crawl out of my herniation. The next day, I was able to get up and walk around. My back was fine.
Suing for Justice
One morning in February 2015 I received a hint to file a criminal complaint against the former CCP head who started the persecution. When I told the others, everyone decided to use our real names to file the complaint. I didn't have much education, so I didn't know how to write the statement. But I gave it a try and I even helped the other practitioners. I just wrote the truth: how our health improved after we began practicing Falun Dafa. We became kind people, contributed both at home and in the community, validated the goodness of Dafa, and so on. I also wrote how practitioners were being persecuted and I listed all the crimes that the CCP committed. The complaints were smoothly delivered.
Practitioners in my area are all elderly. I felt that our righteous thoughts and righteous actions were encouraged by Master. After we filed I saw four pots of flowers: plum, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum. Traditionally, these flowers symbolize gentlemen among men of high moral character. I felt Master encouraged us by using metaphors.
Urgently Saving More People
Starting in 2017, whenever I sent righteous thoughts or meditated, through my third eye I saw the walls and furniture in my room disappear. Instead the room was filled with thousands of people. I said, “I think you've come here to be saved. Master Li Hongzhi is now spreading Falun Dafa and saving sentient beings. Please remember Falun Dafa is Good, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is Good, and you'll enter the new universe.”
When I meditated, many people sat opposite from me and meditated with me. I thought perhaps they were beings that had a predestined relationship with me. They knew Falun Dafa is important and wanted to practice. One day when I sent righteous thoughts, I saw a huge Buddha. It was Master sitting on a giant lotus flower. He wore a golden yellow kasaya, and his hair was curly.
Another time when I sent righteous thoughts and made the lotus hand gesture, through my third eye, I saw the tips of my fingers turn into pink lotus flower petals, and my palms were light green, just like a blooming lotus. I enlightened that Master was encouraging me to cultivate more diligently, that I should not slack off. I needed to save more sentient beings.
Be More Diligent
Master said,
“As long as you practice cultivation, I’m actually right by your side. And as long as you practice cultivation, I can be responsible for you all the way to the end; what’s more, I’m looking after you every single moment.” (“Teaching the Fa in New York City,” Lectures in the United States)
I've practiced for more than twenty years and I've seen numerous scenes in other dimensions. I've just written about a few things I've seen but they prove that every single word Master teaches is true. Whether our environment is peaceful or the persecution is rampant, Master is always by our side. As long as we follow the path arranged by Master, he will encourage us. If we slack off in our cultivation or don’t do well, Master reminds us and helps us enlighten to it.
For example, in 2018, I saw my progress report which recorded my grades. I enlightened that Master was warning me not to slack off and fall behind. I saw that I did not want to bear hardship when I clarified the truth. I had a lot of excuses, such as many people discarded the truth-clarification materials, and cameras were everywhere. As a result, I gave out fewer materials now, and I didn’t do much face-to-face truth clarification anymore.
Once I saw a person through my third eye. She was in her 50s and told me her name. I realized that I must save her, but she lived far away. I knew I was using this as an excuse, as well as fear that stopped me from stepping out of the door.
Master has done so much for us. I still have many human attachments I haven't eliminated yet. I still haven't reached the requirements of the Fa and I feel regret. I'm determined to break through these obstacles and do the three things well. I will be more diligent so I don't disappoint Master's benevolent salvation.
