(Minghui.org) A 65-year-old former elementary school teacher serving time for her faith in Falun Gong is experiencing serious symptoms.
Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a mind-body discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
Ms. Yu Shuhua, a Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province resident, was arrested on August 15, 2018 after being reported for telling a resident at a farmers’ market about how Falun Gong cured her incurable ailments.
She was later indicted by the Taizihe District Procuratorate and sentenced to three years by the Taizihe Court. She was transferred from the Liaoyang City Detention Center to the Masanjia Women’s Prison on June 18, 2019.
It’s reported that Ms. Yu has developed seriously high blood pressure in the prison. She is unable to walk by herself and has to be helped by others.
