(Minghui.org) My son is in his 50s and teaches at a college. Although he doesn’t practice Falun Dafa, he has very strong righteous thoughts. What he recently said to the head of a certain judicial office made the head grit his teeth in anger, unable to reply.
I was caught on surveillance cameras distributing Falun Dafa informational materials, and was later followed and illegally arrested. As a result, I developed symptoms of high blood pressure, and had a heart attack. I couldn’t take care of myself.
Before the new year, I was tried and sentenced to six months in prison, with a 5,000 yuan fine. I was taken to a detention center, but they refused to accept me because of my poor health. I was then taken to a prison, but was not accepted there for the same reason. In the end, they released me.
After I got home, I diligently studied the Fa, did the exercises, and sent forth righteous thoughts. My symptoms of sickness quickly disappeared, and I was able to take care of myself again. When the police learned about this, they came and arrested me, then took me to the hospital for a physical exam.
The doctor concluded that I was still at high risk, so they sent me home. They came every two weeks and took me for a physical. The results were always the same – I was not out of danger.
When I went to the hospital for the fourth physical, my son was told to accompany me. The results were the same, so the officer who came with us said, “The court has convicted you already, but the detention center and prison refuse to accept you. We have to take you to the neighborhood judicial office. Let’s go there now.”
When we arrived, the head of the judicial office took the case file from the police officer and looked through it. He asked me in an arrogant tone if I was the criminal. I told him that I didn’t commit any crime and that it was not wrong to practice Falun Dafa and be a good person.”
The head responded, “You must answer my questions seriously.”
“Sure!” I replied. “It’s [Falun Dafa] the most important thing in my life.”
The head continued, “You must obey the management and have a certain understanding of Falun Dafa. You must hand in the three statements within one week.”
I interrupted him, saying, “Falun Dafa is a cultivation practice of high virtue. It has been spread to more than one 100 countries and regions. The main book Zhuan Falun has been translated into more than 40 languages. There are millions of people practicing Falun Dafa around the world.”
“Stop promoting these things to me,” he said snapped back. “Since you practice Falun Dafa, your son might be implicated and will not be allowed to join the Party or civil service. Even your grandchildren will be implicated and not be allowed to go to school or join the army.”
My son immediately replied, “Why should I join the Party and be a civil servant!?”
“Then what do you want to do?” the head questioned with a confused expression.
“I can do any kind of work,” my son answered.
What my son said made the head grit his teeth in anger, but there was no reply.
The head told the police officer that he wouldn’t accept me either. He returned the case file to the police officer and left.
We were then taken home.
