(Minghui.org) I would like to share my experience of making phone calls to a procuratorate and to police officers in China.
I returned to the Global Rescue Platform in mid-September. I used to participate in calling people from the Rescue Platform as early as November 2014. This time, the first call I made was to the Deputy Secretary of a Procuratorate, whose last name is Ren. I called him twice. The first time I called, the call didn’t go through. On the second try, it did go through, and he listened for 34 minutes and 30 seconds. After seeing that he listened to the full 30-minute script, I added information about recent situations: What caused the breakout of the pandemic and why have Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials stepped down?
It had been a while since I called the 610 Office, which is affiliated with the Police, Procuratorate and Judicial System, so I wasn’t sure where to start. The coordinator sent me a script, then told me patiently, “You can just follow the script and read it word for word. As long as the other party doesn’t hang up, you can just keep going.” Thus, I did what she told me to do, and read the script as soon as the other party picked up the call. Unexpectedly, he listened to me the entire time.
Noticing that he didn’t hang up, I continued, “There had to be a reason for the pandemic to occur. The ancient Roman Empire persecuted the Christians, and because of it, they were subjected to four major plagues. Now, history is repeating itself. The CCP persecutes Falun Gong, and harvests organs from practitioners while they are still alive. This will not be tolerated by heaven and earth.
“This plague came about to eliminate the CCP. As a saying goes: ‘The plague eliminates the CCP; heaven selects good people; and the plague will not go away until the CCP collapses.’ Every CCP official who was forced to step down are the ones who closely followed the former CCP leader to persecute Falun Gong. As a secretary of the Procuratorate, you shoulder great responsibility, so you must clearly see through the current situation and the evil nature of the CCP. For the safety of yourself and your family, please do not persecute Falun Gong. It is a huge sin to persecute those who cultivate Buddhahood.”
After he hung up, I was moved that he could listen to me for this long, and knew it came down to Master’s encouragement and empowerment. From this call, I realized that sentient beings are waiting to be saved.
After I returned to the platform, I participated in calls for three special cases: two were Beijing special cases, and another was a Shandong special case. On the evening of November 22, I made calls to Jinan City for the special cases in Shandong Province. I signed up for a group of desk phone numbers belonging to a police station. The connection rate was fairly high. Out of the eight phone numbers, only three didn’t go through.
I retrieved two groups of cell phone numbers, a total of 15 altogether. On the morning of November 23, among them, seven went through. One cell number was to Zhangqiu City. On the first call a woman stayed on for 9 minutes and 27 seconds. When I called the second time, it didn’t go through. The third call lasted for four minutes and six seconds. On the first call, I was able to clarify the facts to the woman on the other end of the line thoroughly. However, I wanted to call her again to see if she really listened to me, and to try to help her renounce her memberships in the CCP.
When I called her the third time, she had me on a speaker a phone. I said, “Hello! I am so sorry, I know it’s late, but I am calling you again. I talked a lot last time, so I want to ask you if what I said was clear to you? I am a volunteer for the Quitting the CCP center, I can help you quit the CCP.” She didn’t say anything. Right then, I heard her child call her. Then I asked her to protect Falun Gong practitioners wisely under her level of responsibility.
I gave her an example: a Domestic Security Division leader had difficulty having a child after being married for many years. He went to talk to a practitioner, who is also a doctor. He asked this practitioner, “How can you help me?” The practitioner responded, “First of all, do not participate in persecuting Falun Gong anymore. Secondly, you and your wife have to quit the CCP. Thirdly, both you and your wife must sincerely recite, ‘Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’ every day.” That man said, “We have to believe in science.”
The practitioner replied, “Falun Dafa is the highest science. I told you what to do, it’s up to you whether you want to follow it or not.” The man thought about it, then agreed not to persecute Falun Gong anymore. After that, he left the Domestic Security Division. Then both he and his wife quit the CCP and sincerely recited, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” Soon after, his wife became pregnant and gave birth to a healthy boy.
They were so excited as they brought their son to this practitioner’s home to celebrate. Good and evil comes from one spontaneous thought. There have been many cases like that. There have been also many cases where people turned away from the truth and actively followed former CCP leader Jiang Zemin to persecute Falun Gong; they consequently received karmic retribution in the end. Upon hearing this, she hung up.
I signed up for two groups of cell phone numbers on the morning of November 25, associated with a certain division of the Jinan City Police Department. Out of those, 11 calls went through. When I dialed one number, the person hung up twice. The third time, it finally went through and the person listened for 7 minutes and 30 seconds. At first, I didn’t want to call that number anymore. But after a second thought, I realized that was wrong. While erecting my palm to send forth righteous thoughts, I dialed the number again.
This time the other party listened. I said, “Good evening. I saw that the pandemic situation in China is very serious, especially the extreme ‘zero-out’ policy, which led to pregnant women having miscarriages in front of the hospital, and children with fevers not receiving treatment in time and dying. Because parents were put in quarantine, their child was left home alone and raped. Where can such things happen? Only in China, which is ruled by the CCP totalitarian regime!
“I am calling to inform you that the way to protect yourself and your family is to have your whole family quit the CCP. We all held up our fists to swear that we’d devote ourselves to communism, thus surrendering ourselves to this demon. Now that heaven will eliminate the CCP, you are in danger as you are an element of the CCP. How can you survive if you don’t quit it? There have been 400 million people who quit the CCP and its youth organizations. This is wonderful!” Then I talked about how Dafa has spread throughout the world, about the CCP’s state-sanctioned organ-harvesting from practitioners, and that good and evil has its due course. When I saw it was quite late, I said goodbye and hung up.
Before I made another call, I was struggling with whether to continue calling special cases or do other types of calls. I knew they are all important. In the end, I decided to finish making the special cases calls first. If I were to do something else now, these sentient beings would miss a chance to hear the truth. Even though I didn’t help anyone to quit the CCP, they learned the truth and how to save themselves; so there would still be hope for them.
By calling the special cases, I came to realize that in order to make effective calls, one needs to study the Fa well, and do the Falun Dafa exercises. One also needs to have a script, as well as having a few calling tools handy. One needs to harbor a benevolent heart, and maintain strong righteous thoughts throughout the process.
Master said:
“The Fa’s rectification of the Cosmos has finished, and now a transition to the Fa’s rectification of the human world is taking place. Most of our Dafa disciples will join me as the Fa rectifies the human world.” (“Wake Up”)
My personal understanding is that the opportunities to save sentient beings are limited, and the remaining time for us to save people is becoming less and less. Therefore, we should seize the time to save more people, and save them quickly! The time that Master has extended for us, in exchange for his tremendous suffering, is for us to save sentient beings. Right now, besides calling China, I couldn’t make myself available to take on additional tasks at the rescue platform because of conflicts with work. Moreover, I have to participate in promoting Shen Yun in our local area. But I will try to harmonize the one body and work well with other practitioners, as saving people is my mission!
