(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 9 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Huaqing Taken to a Brainwashing Center
8. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhao Kunli Missing
9. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Feng Guihua Faces Trial
1. [Beijing] Case Against Ms. Lu Sumin Submitted to the Court
Ms. Lu Sumin from the Mentougou District, in her 70s, was arrested by officers from the Dongxinfang Police Station and the Mentougou District Police Department on September 4, 2023. She was taken to the Shijingshan District Detention Center and her case was submitted to the Shijingshan District Court.
2. [Yibin City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Deng Ling Faces Trial
Ms. Deng Ling from Binjiang County was held in a detention center for over a year. She will be tried in court on September 26, 2023.
3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Yongmei Arrested
Ms. Li Yongmei was arrested at home on September 20, 2023.
4. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Wenyan Arrested and Detained
Ms. Zhang Wenyan’s home in the Decheng District was ransacked on the morning of September 14, 2023, when she was not there. The police later arrested her. Ms. Zhang is now in the Dezhou City Detention Center.
5. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhao Li’s Daughter Arrested
Ms. Zhao Li lives in the Dongchenglingxiu Community in the Longfeng District of Daqing City. Her daughter Lele was arrested in Xiamen City on September 21, 2023.
6. [Li County, Hebei Province] Ms. Cui Xiaoxian Arrested
Ms. Cui Xiaoxian, 78, was arrested by Liu Li, deputy of Yi County Domestic Security Division, and officers from the Chengguan Police Station on the morning of September 21, 2023. Her home was ransacked. She was later released but was placed under residential surveillance. Ms. Cui has left home to avoid further persecution.
7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Huaqing Taken to a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Zhang Huaqing from the Nanshan Community was arrested and taken to the Etouwan Brainwashing Center in mid-August 2023
8. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhao Kunli Missing
Ms. Zhao Kunli who is retired, lives alone. She went missing two months ago and her friends and family are looking for her.
9. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Feng Guihua Faces Trial
Ms. Feng Guihua, 74, was arrested at home by Huantong Police Station officers in the Dongchang District on March 20, 2023. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, a photo of Falun Gong's founder, an MP5 player, a desk calendar, pendants, etc. Ms. Feng was taken to the Tonghua City Detention Center but was not admitted due to her poor health. Her son was forced to pay 3,000 yuan to bail her out.
Ms. Feng will be tried in the Liuhe Courthouse on September 25, 2023.
