(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 30 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ju Guilan Arrested

6. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
7. [Jintang County, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
8. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Yang Arrested
1. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ju Guilan Arrested
Four officers from the Taohaotai Township Police Station went to Ms. Wang Limei’s home on December 2, 2023. Two of them searched the place but did not find anything. The four officers then broke into Ms. Ju Guilan’s home and confiscated two lectures recently written by the founder of Falun Gong. They arrested Ms. Ju.
2. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
In the second half of 2023, a number of practitioners were arrested, detained and otherwise harassed by the police for publishing “solemn statements” on the Minghui website.
The current situations of some Falun Gong practitioners are as follows:
Mr. Sun Yue, arrested on July 6, 2023, was detained for 10 days;Ms. Li Yuanyou, arrested on July 6, 2023, was held in the Sanjiang Detention Center for over four months and has not been released;Ms. Wang Tingmei and Ms. Zhang Chunming, who were arrested on July 6, 2023, have been released. The details of their arrests are not available;Ms. Tang Jianhua, arrested on July 6, 2023, was detained for five days;Ms. Shen Meiyun, arrested on October 8, 2023, is still being detained in the Sanjiang Detention Center;Ms. Wang Haiyun, arrested by Xiaohe Economic and Technological Development Zone Police Department on October 8, 2023, was detained for 12 days;Ms. Chen Zhengying, arrested on October 8, 2023, was released on the same day;Ms. Huang Guanmin, about 40, was arrested by officers from the Xiaohe Economic and the Technological Development Zone Police Department in October 2023. Her whereabouts are unknown;Ms. Liu Zuoxuan was questioned about the published “solemn statement” in September 2023 by someone in a police uniform, who showed up at her home with three other people;Ms. Peng Zelan was harassed for posting a “solemn statement.” Further details are not yet available.
3. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Lai Dongping Faces Trial
Ms. Lai Dongping will be tried by the Mawei District Court on December 7, 2023.
4. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Ma Long Arrested
Mr. Ma Long from the Kongtun Village, Xihe Town, was arrested at home by Liu Xiaotian and other officers from the Xihe Police Station on November 30, 2023. Mr. Ma was taken to Baiqi Town Police Station and then to the Shulan City Detention Center for 15 days of custody.
5. [Tianjin] Mr. Ran Guanquan Taken to Detention Center
Mr. Ran Guanquan from Tanggu District, Binhai New Area, was arrested on the morning of December 1, 2023, by officers from the Xiangyang Police Station and was taken to the Tanggu District Detention Center.
6. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
On November 29, 2023 the Binhai Police Department dispatched a large number of officers to arrest Ms. Liu Yufen, Ms. Wu Xiulan, Ms. Ji Yingping, the second daughter of Ms. Bai Xingwen (who was imprisoned in the Shandong Women’s Prison), and other practitioners.
At 6:30 and 8:00 in the morning on November 29, 2023, officers from various police departments, including the Binnan Police Department and the Gudao Police Department, arrested Ms. Wang Xuemei and her sister, Ms. Lu Chunhua, Ms. Kong Fanlian, Ms. Wang Fan, Ms. Zhang Aiquan, Ms. Wu Xiulan (in her 70s), along with other practitioners.
Ms. Wang Xuemei and Ms. Liu Yufen returned home that day.
7. [Jintang County, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Wei Denghui, Ms. Dong Jinzhi, and Ms. Deng Subi were told by officers from the Shuicheng Police Station that they were needed at the police station to finalize their release on bail cases. When they went there, they were arrested.
Ms. Dong was taken to the Pi County Detention Center. The whereabouts of Ms. Wei and Ms. Deng are unknown. The whereabouts of Ms. Wei’s husband are also unknown.
8. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Yang Arrested
Mr. Liu Yang, 47, a dentist, was arrested from his dental clinic in Shimenzhai Town, Qinhuangdao City, on November 1, 2023. The officers confiscated a tablet and Falun Gong books from his home in the Hedong area in Haigang District, Qinhuangdao City.
Mr. Liu is currently held in the Songyuan City Detention Center in Jilin Province.
