(Minghui.org) I started to practice Falun Dafa in June 1997, and have benefited greatly. I would like to share some of my experiences.
Difficult Childhood
At the time I was born, my family lived on a boat. When I was three years old, my father died and my mother raised me and my four older siblings alone. We were poor and I lived in fear that I might be taken away and adopted by another family. My mother is nice and kind-hearted, and she sincerely believes in the existence of Buddha.
When I was old enough for school, I was sent to live in another home. It was difficult to live apart from my family while still so young. I also had to do housework along with my studies. I didn’t mind the work, and I cherished the school time and did my best. Often I memorized new words while working. Among all my brothers and sisters, I was the only one who had the opportunity to go to school.
Later, I learned from my older siblings that in order to improve the financial stability of our family, my father instructed that one child in our family must go to school to receive an education. I was chosen.
Every night I had visions, I even saw Bodhisattvas. I did not see anything like that during the daytime. I was scared and had no one to talk to about it. Later, I was able to tell my mother about it. She comforted me and said it was okay, not to be afraid. After I read Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa, I realized that it was because my celestial eye was opened when I was young. Everything Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, said is true.
Regained My Health
I was always weak. I had chronic fatigue syndrome and an associated sleep disorder. In the first year of college, I also had rectal ulcers, stomachaches and then liver cysts. When I was in my 40s, I was as weak as an 80-year-old man. I tried Chinese and Western medicine, as well as Qigong, but nothing helped.
Amazingly, all my ailments were gone after I practiced Falun Dafa. Master purified my body. I felt that I was the luckiest person in the world.
One afternoon I felt unwell and went to sleep at 6 p.m. When I woke up in the middle of the night, I was perspiring so much that my clothes and bedding were soaked. I stayed in bed until 6 a.m. I was still uncomfortable, but just went to work as usual. Around 6 p.m., I began to perspire again, until the next morning. On the third night, I had a little perspiration and slept until dawn. Since then my chronic fatigue syndrome was gone. I was no longer weak anymore.
Another night after dinner, I felt like my stomach was very full even though I’d only eaten a small amount. At night my stomach hurt and I had diarrhea. I went to the bathroom more than 30 times! I knew Master was purifying my body. Since then, I could eat dry food which I couldn’t digest ever since I was young.
Soon, my liver cysts disappeared. I experienced the happiness of no illness. No words can express my appreciation to Master.
Survived Accidents
Master not only purified my body but also protects me.
One day in 2001 when I was riding a bicycle to work, a dump truck passed me before a bridge. I was focused on going uphill to the bridge and when I was about to go downhill, the truck began to make a turn. Before I could react, my bicycle was headed directly into the truck. At the moment that I was about to collide with the truck, somehow I jumped off the bicycle. I couldn’t believe it – I felt like an acrobat. I believe that it must have been Master who saved me from that danger.
Another day also in 2001, I was again riding my bicycle. A man was riding straight toward me from the opposite direction. When he was about to run into me, I tried to avoid him but the bike lane was crowded. The next second I found myself sitting in the flowerbed on the side of the road with my bicycle next to me. It was like I experienced instantaneous movement. I think only Master could make that happen.
Since the Chinese Communist Party started the persecution of Falun Dafa in July 1999, I have continuously talked to people about Dafa and my personal experiences, and expose the persecution. I hope more people will be aware of the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa and will thus be blessed.
