She often tells us, “No matter what you encounter, do not forget to recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ and you will be alk right. Our master, Li Hongzhi, will protect you.”
Beginning the second half of 2022, my menstruation was abnormal for more than six months. Every time I menstruated, it would last for over ten days. The blood appeared black and contained clots and decomposed tissue.
In April 2023, my menstruation lasted for 20 days and was accompanied by abdominal pain. I was scared and went to the hospital. The doctor told me I had uterine fibroids there were about 47 x 52 x 29 mm (1.6 x 2 x 1.1 inches). I was sent to a surgeon, who looked at the film and said they were too large to remove and that I should have a hysterectomy immediately. I was dumbfounded, and my husband was overwhelmed also.
I could not help but cry when I told my mother about my condition. She said, “Don’t worry, just sincerely recite, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ and you will be all right.” I agreed.
I went to another hospital for a second opinion. The result was the same, except that the fibroid was even larger, 48 x 53 x 30 mm (1.8 x 2.1 x 1.1 inches). I was hospitalized for further tests and treatment. Before the surgery to remove my uterus, they had to remove my contraceptive ring (intrauterine device, IUD) and other tissue outside the uterine cavity. Then they would do an MRI to screen for malignancy of the fibroid before operating.
The doctor also told me that a CT scan was scheduled for the morning of April 18 and that the IUD would be removed that afternoon. The surgery to remove the uterus would be done on April 19.
On the afternoon of April 18, I went into the operating room to have the IUD removed. The procedure was very painful, and I was sweating profusely. I kept reciting the auspicious phrases without stopping for a moment. The procedure took about 40 minutes.
On the morning of April 19, the doctor reviewed the MRI results and was shocked to find that the egg-sized fibroid was gone! The result was confirmed by another ultrasound. “It’s quite amazing how something so big could just disappear!” the doctor said.
I suddenly remembered that I was reciting the auspicious phrases nonstop the day before, and it worked! I told the patients in my ward all about how reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ had really saved me!
