(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Saipan, the largest of the Northern Mariana Islands, a US commonwealth in the Pacific Ocean, were invited to participate in the annual Flame Tree Arts Festival at the Civic Center July 28 to July 30, 2023. Practitioners’ waist drum dance and Art of Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance) Exhibition were greatly admired.

The host of the event introduced Falun Dafa and mentioned that this was the 31st anniversary of public introduction and thanked practitioners for sharing Falun Dafa at this annual event.
The Falun Dafa booth was decorated with elegant Shen Yun posters and paintings from the Art of Zhen-Shan-Ren Exhibition. Many people were fascinated by the artists’ superb skills and the beauty of cultivation practice. Some said they were touched by the realm of spirituality reflected in the artworks.

Jonney Edward Sablan, a local, told the reporter, “Falun Dafa seems to be a mother who gives us life. We are her creations.”
A young man named Barboza said, “These paintings put us in a precious mental state. I like them!”
A man was curious about the background story of the painting “The Call of Innocence.” A practitioner told him how Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) practitioners in China had been persecuted for their faith, which entails living by Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The little girl in the painting is trying to awaken people’s consciences even in the rain. The man sympathized with the practitioners who are being persecuted and condemned the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and explained how beneficial the practice is. Those interested in learning about it took information and expressed their hope for an end to the persecution. As one of them said, “The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance!”
