(Minghui.org) Practitioners from Poland and Germany held activities to tell people about the ongoing persecution in China, at Long Market, a major tourist attraction in Gdańsk, Poland on July 29 and 30, 2023. Many people signed the petition to call for an end to the atrocities after learning how brutal the persecution is.

Located in Pomerania Province, Gdańsk is Poland’s main seaport and is an important cultural and trading center. Together with Gdynia and Sopot, the city forms a metropolitan area called the Tricity. Long Market is a popular tourist attraction and is surrounded by Gdańsk’s most beautiful streets and historic buildings. The famous St. Dominic’s Fair was held in the city during the practitioners’ activities and many tourists visited Long Market.
Practitioners set up an eye-catching row of posters and banners in the middle of the road. They also prepared information in English, German, and Chinese to hand out to passersby.
People signed the petition to call for an end to the atrocities to support and encourage Falun Gong practitioners in China.
Everyone Should Have the Right to Choose Their Path in Life
Practitioners did the exercises near the Neptune Fountain on Saturday, July 29. Rafal Gardian was impressed by the peaceful atmosphere and talked to practitioners.
Rafal was appalled to hear that the Chinese Communist regime is persecuting people who live by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance taught by Falun Dafa. He said, “We should ensure that everyone has the right to choose their path in life. I object to totalitarian governments. It is common knowledge that the Communist government in China has not changed much, it is still a dictatorship. I know terrible things have happened in that place.”
He signed the petition and said he hopes the persecution ends soon.
I Support What You Are Doing
Wiktor Kumidor was shocked when practitioners told him people in China are brutally tortured for refusing to give up their belief. He said, “I saw the photos of the tortured practitioners. This is a barbaric, Hitler-type action.”
Wiktor Kumidor expressed support for practitioners’ efforts to expose the persecution in China and to tell people about organ harvesting.
He said that the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance followed by practitioners are a stark contrast to the inhuman, brutal ways of the CCP. He said, “( Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance), these words are beautiful, I support what you are doing, please continue to move forward. Thank you.”

Camille talked to practitioners on Sunday afternoon, July 30. He said he was very interested in China. Although this was the first time he heard of Falun Dafa, he said Falun Dafa’s principles are good for people and especially in today’s fast-paced society.
“In our society, people lack knowledge about the human body, thinking, and culture. People don’t care about what they think, they always live in a rush.”
Falun Dafa teaches that mental and material are the same, mental health can lead to good physical health. Camille agrees with this. He said that vice versa, negative thoughts can make one’s physical condition worse.
Camille supports practitioners and encouraged them to continue to protest against the CCP’s suppression. “It is a great thing that you stand here displaying all this information. The longer we promote certain things, the greater the change we bring to the world in the future.”
He happily signed the petition to call for an end to the persecution and said, “If my signature can help change this even a little, it is worth it.”
