(Minghui.org) One person told me about a practitioner who recently went to China and then returned to Europe. When the practitioner was in China, local police visited her and asked her to watch a video from someone who was “knowledgeable” and “had insider information about Falun Gong.”
I heard that some overseas veteran practitioners were also drawn to this person. After Minghui published a notice about this person, some practitioners who did not pay much attention to Minghui in the past became curious about it and began to watch this person's videos, leading this person to be even worse.
This incident is unfortunate. When evaluating this as genuine practitioners, we can easily recognize these traps. Those practitioners didn’t conduct themselves based on the Fa, but were like what Master described in the new article “Stay Far Away From Peril” in that they “... use human attachments, human notions, and human emotions to evaluate things...”
About Returning to China
There are several underlying issues with this situation. First of all is the issue of practitioners going back to China. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began to persecute Dafa in July 1999, Master has told us that overseas practitioners should not go back to China. However, some practitioners claimed that they needed to do so with various excuses. Some said that nothing happened when they went back and some said their phones and computers had security measures.
Nonetheless, those practitioners were oblivious to the danger of not following Master’s words. When Master pointed out certain issues in the past, they may think that He was talking about someone else, not them. Frankly speaking, everyone who went to China after the persecution started has been looking at cultivation with human notions. Even if they had done some or even a lot of Dafa-related things, they still handled these things with their human notions.
Secondly, some who returned from China claimed that nothing happened while they were there. But I would like to challenge them to examine their hearts, is it true that nothing really happened to their hearts, or is it that they just didn’t want to admit that their hearts were closer to humanness after the trip? And did they handle things and the people around them with the Fa or human emotions?
Thirdly, Chinese spies could have tracked the entire trip and know everything they did while there. Isn't it possible that the CCP agents had already collected much information about them through their interactions with their families in China even before they made the trip?
Hotbed for Spies
In fact, the stories that Yu Chao promoted in his videos are trivial for genuine practitioners or those who know the situation. But unfortunately, there were still a small percentage of practitioners who followed him. Most of those practitioners have human notions, are attached to themselves, and use Fa principles to judge others instead of cultivating themselves.
Everyday people have their own rules in society, and Dafa disciples have our principles to follow, such as cultivating xinxing and saving people. Therefore, everyday people and Dafa disciples may have different points of view when talking with each other. This is how CCP spies could take advantage of the loopholes to cause problems, as Yu’s followers are more likely to identify with human rules instead of cultivation principles.
Moreover, how much have Yu and Zeng (who had a similar situation as Yu) done for others? How many people have they misled and harmed? Human beings don’t determine whether Yu or Zeng have done things correctly. Divine beings have the final say and can see everything clearly.
For people like Yu and Zeng, they were scared to death after being jailed. Out of fear, they complied with the evil to push themselves to the forefront, work on practitioners with low education levels, and mislead them to give up their belief. The karma generated is so huge that it is beyond imagination. One cannot take it for granted, thinking that writing a Solemn Declaration would void all of this. It’s true that they graduated from famous universities in China and are more “knowledgeable” than those who never attended school. But if this became their advantage in transforming others, we should all be able to tell that this is a fundamental issue concerning their morality and character.
It’s true that Master has given us opportunities to cultivate anew and redouble the efforts to make up for our mistakes. This is a reflection of Master’s sacrifice and compassion for us. Do we truly understand what it takes for Master to bestow us with such unprecedented compassion? Do we also know what it means to “make up for the mistakes?” Since the first day of our cultivation, Master has spent so much painstaking effort to lead us to where we are today. We all know how difficult it is to cultivate. When those people created such huge tribulations for themselves, they have to be aware of their position and the danger they are facing. It’s the same for those who follow them.
When those people “cultivate anew,” they are considered new practitioners. I wonder why certain people are so enthusiastic about the self-boasting of those “new practitioners” and forget what Master has taught us in the Fa.
Furthermore, everything we did to expose the persecution and clarify the truth involved efforts from many practitioners. Nothing can be done by a single “hero.” For the things that required countless practitioners’ efforts and maybe even the sacrifice of one's life, how can one dare to claim the credit on their own? Isn’t their level too low?
In addition, just doing one or two good things does not mean one has earned enough “credit” to stop contributing, look down upon others, or even defame Master. It’s obvious what kind of people they are. Why is it that those who were misled by the CCP spies cannot see it? They follow those people and take Master’s compassion as child's play, indulging themselves in human notions instead of handling themselves like genuine practitioners.
In terms of so-called “insider information,” Dafa cultivation doesn’t have any such thing. What we have are xinxing tests for us to improve ourselves, physical tribulations for us to eliminate our karma, and the humility of not bragging about how much we have done. Those who do not cultivate wouldn’t be able to understand this, nor should they make casual comments about it. And of course, they should not be used by CCP spies to brainwash people and drag them down.
Some practitioners who got to know Dafa before 1999 are acting more and more like everyday people after over two decades of persecution. They may have become used to the human ways and enjoyed it, forgetting their vows of coming to this world as Dafa disciples and that they were only temporary guests on earth.
I feel sad for practitioners who couldn’t maintain their rationality and got carried away with their human emotions. Since Master has published the new articles, let us all cherish Master’s compassion and cherish the opportunity of cultivating Dafa. We should all stop looking outward and take cultivation more seriously, both for ourselves and for the sentient beings that we’ve vowed to save.
