(Minghui.org) Practitioners held an event in Place Royale in Nantes on February 10, 2024, Chinese New Year Day. They told people about Falun Dafa and collected signatures on a petition to end the persecution. Many people signed the petition, and some learned the Falun Dafa exercises during the event.

Nantes is the most populous city in western France and the sixth largest city in the country. Many people strolling along Place Royale were drawn to the practitioners’ waist drum dances. After hearing that practitioners in China are persecuted for following Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, many people signed the petition calling to stop the persecution. Some wanted to learn more about this cultivation practice.

After learning of the extent of the persecution, many people condemned the CCP’s atrocity of harvesting organs from practitioners.

A woman told a practitioner that she was writing an academic paper on organ harvesting. She asked for detailed information to supplement her writing. Another woman also came to learn more about the persecution because she was writing a report on government misconduct.
A man told a practitioner that he worked for the Armed Forces and heard about torture inflicted on Falun Dafa practitioners in China. He said practitioners were a group of kind people and deserve support. He and his wife signed the petition. He shook hands with a Chinese practitioner to express his support.
