(Minghui.org) The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime harmed the nation’s economy with its zero-COVID policy that lasted for three-plus years during the pandemic. When the policy was abruptly ended at the end of 2022, however, it resulted in a significant spike in infections that surpassed 80 percent in certain regions. The healthcare system struggled to cope with the overwhelming number of patients. Even securing a burial became a costly endeavor.
Falun Dafa practitioners have been telling people the benefits of Dafa and exposing its persecution in China since 1999, even during the pandemic. For example, they told people to keep in mind the auspicious words, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” for blessings.
A Village With Few Infections
After the persecution started, some practitioners and I often visited the village in which I grew up to distribute Dafa informational materials. Many villagers knew the truth about Dafa, and many had renounced the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
When we returned after Chinese New Year last year with updated Dafa materials, the villagers were happy to see us. They told us that the village experienced minimal COVID-19 deaths and a lower infection rate than neighboring villages during the pandemic—those who did contract the virus recovered quickly by sincerely reciting the auspicious words mentioned above.
We also visited a former village Party secretary, who was over 90, and were told a remarkable story. His daughter said that both of her parents contracted the virus during the peak of the pandemic. Upon returning home, she was scared upon seeing their severe symptoms and their inability to eat or drink. She urged them to go to the hospital, but they refused. They just sat there, constantly chanting words that she did not understand. They recovered within two days.
In the past, the old man had read many Falun Dafa materials and the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. When his daughter learned that her parents were chanting the auspicious words back then, she was amazed by the power of Dafa. She and her husband understood the benefits of Dafa after our conversation and renounced the CCP.
Recovery of Relatives
Many of my relatives believe that Falun Dafa is good and received blessings during the epidemic.
I raised my daughter with the guidance of Dafa’s principles, and did the same when I looked after her children. In this way, the principles became ingrained in their hearts. My daughter lives with her in-laws, who had learned the truth about Dafa through us and withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
During the peak of the pandemic in December 2022, my son-in-law contracted the virus and, unfortunately, infected the whole family. They all fell sick and lost their appetite. However, his mother remembered the auspicious words that I told her and told everyone to recite them. She constantly repeated the words to herself for two hours and immediately recovered afterward. She also influenced her sister to do the same.
When my eldest granddaughter began to feel unwell, she stayed in her room and read Zhuan Falun, a book containing the main teachings of Falun Dafa. As a result, all of her symptoms disappeared soon after. The younger granddaughter and the youngest grandson had slightly more severe symptoms, with fever and dizziness. They recovered ten hours after reciting the auspicious words.
My sister-in-law, in her mid-70s, suffers from several diseases. However, she learned the facts about Dafa from me and quit the CCP organizations. When I was imprisoned for my faith in Dafa, she visited me in prison. When prison officials asked her to convince me to give up my beliefs, she refused without hesitation. During the pandemic, she did not catch the virus, although her husband, children, and grandchildren all became ill.
My husband’s nephew, a veteran working as an epidemic technician, came in contact with all kinds of people. But he was never infected because he also believed the facts about Dafa and severed ties with the CCP.
I am happy for all of my relatives and friends who embraced Dafa and received blessings. May more people awaken to the truth, ensuring safety when facing catastrophes.
