(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 24 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Ye Xiuping Tried in Court
2. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Jinman Arrested
3. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sun Wanliang and Eight Other Practitioners Sentenced
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Pan Wenjun Detained
5. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Sanni and Ms. Liu Xizhen Tried in Court
6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lu Chunyu Develops Jaundice in Prison
7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Nie Yan Incarcerated
8. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Chunying Arrested
9. [Heishan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Niu Tong and Three Other Practitioners Arrested

1. [Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Ye Xiuping Tried in Court
Ms. Ye Xiuping is being held in the Shixing County Detention Center. She was tried in the Zhenjiang District Court. The judge will soon hand down the sentence.
2. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Jinman Arrested
Mr. Zhang Jinman of the Weibin District was secretly arrested by officers from the Jiangtan Road Police Station in April, 2024.
3. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sun Wanliang and Eight Other Practitioners Sentenced
Nine Changtu County practitioners were tried in the Changtu County Court on March 25, 2024. Their attorneys and relatives entered not guilty pleas on their behalf.
Sun Wanliang was sentenced to two-and-a-half-years in prison and fined 5,000 yuan. Zhao Chunlin, Meng Guilan, Shi Guimin, Zhao Hongjie, and Geng Ming were each sentenced to a year in prison and fined 3,000 yuan. Tian Wei was sentenced to eight months in prison and fined 2,000 yuan. Tian was released before the trial. Liu Zhiyong and Wang Huafeng were sentenced to four months in prison and fined 2,000 yuan. Liu and Wang were released before the Chinese New Year (February 10).
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Pan Wenjun Detained
Ms. Pan Wenjun, in her 70s, lives in her son’s home in Changchun. She was arrested by officers from the Kuancheng District Police Department for no reason when she was out on February 20, 2024. Her son’s home was ransacked. It is not known what was confiscated. It is said that she is being held in a detention center.
5. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Sanni and Ms. Liu Xizhen Tried in Court
Ms. Wang Sanni and Ms. Liu Xizhen were tried in the Rangdu District Court at 9:00 a.m. on April 11, 2024.
6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lu Chunyu Develops Jaundice in Prison
Ms. Lu Chunyu is incarcerated in the Shenyang Women’s Prison. Her oldest daughter received a call from the head guard around 3:30 p.m. on April 12, 2024. He said, “Lu Chunyu has developed obstructive jaundice. We are making an appointment for her operation. She also has a lesion. You and she can discuss what to do when you meet. She will have a family visit next month.”
7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Nie Yan Incarcerated
Ms. Nie Yan was put into the Jilin Province Women’s Prison on April 11, 2024.
8. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Chunying Arrested
Ms. Guo Chunyin, a resident of Juyang Town, Sanhe City, was arrested on the morning of April 10, 2024. Her home was ransacked.
9. [Heishan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Niu Tong and Three Other Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Niu Tong was arrested by officers from the Heishan County Domestic Security Division on the morning of March 29, 2024, when she was talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was subjected to 15 days detention, and is being held in the Jinzhou Detention Center.
Ms. Feng Xiuping, a resident of Xiaoxin Village, Fangshan Town, was followed by a plainclothes officer while she was in the Badaohao Street Market on April 2, 2024. She was arrested by officers from Badaohao and the Heishan Domestic Security Division, and was put into to the Jinzhou Detention Center.
Two Heishan Town practitioners, both over 85, were arrested by officers from the Heishan Domestic Security Division when they were talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Heishan Town. The officers tried to force them to sign guarantee statements denouncing Falun Gong. They refused. They were released.
10. [Yingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Xiaoli Detained
Ms. Li Xiaoli, a resident of Xifan Village, Lianzi Town, Longyao County, was arrested by police on April 5, 2024, after someone reported her when she talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was subjected to 15 days of detention.
11. [Zhangye City, Gansu Province] Ms. Liu Yuzhen and Her Daughter Harassed
Ms. Liu Yuzhen was imprisoned for practicing Falun Gong. After she was released, the city police department, local police station, and neighborhood committee repeatedly called and ordered her daughter to submit videos about her. The daughter refused and firmly replied that they should talk to Ms. Liu directly. Her family is under pressure.
12. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Dajun Arrested
Ms. Dajun, nickname, in her 50s, was arrested at home around 6:00 p.m. on April 12, 2024, while she was cooking dinner.
