(Minghui.org) We have seen many Falun Dafa practitioners' persecution cases occurring in China, on the Minghui website. Many have been arrested and sentenced. Nobody knows where some of them are detained and what their case status is. With the persecution still going on and organ harvesting happening every day, the situation of practitioners is worrisome. Moreover, due to the communist regime’s information blockade, the number of practitioners who are actually detained and persecuted is far greater than what’s reported on the Minghui website.

While we work diligently to rescue detained practitioners, we should not forget to clarify the facts to the family members of those practitioners. We need them to visit and encourage their family members in prison, as well as expose the persecution the practitioners suffered. This can help alleviate the torture the practitioners are suffering in custody. Meanwhile, it also helps fellow practitioners who are being persecuted to have stronger righteous thoughts when they know that their families and friends are caring and helping them.

In the movie “Once We Were Divine,” Xiaofeng, the Phoenix Messenger played the role of the wife of Song Guangming, in order to help him achieve great success in cultivation. When Song, the reincarnated King of Light, was in prison, Xiaofeng visited him and helped him break through with righteous thoughts. From that story, I realized that perhaps the family members of Dafa practitioners may have also made such a vow to help us when we encounter great difficulties. This may also be their historical mission.

Many family members witnessed the benefits of Dafa and may have even practiced Dafa themselves before the persecution began, but fearing the persecution, they stopped practicing. Some of them are under great pressure and feel helpless about the CCP’s persecution. Some developed negative views of Dafa or even refrained from contacting their loved ones who practice Dafa. So it’s imperative that we clarify the facts to them and help them understand that their family members didn’t do anything wrong in practicing Dafa.

After some practitioners were released from prison, their families insisted that they not practice Dafa or contact other practitioners. With the ongoing harassment by the local police and residential committees, it is even more difficult for practitioners to be more diligent. Clarifying the facts to their families is key to helping practitioners handle family relationships better and have a better cultivation environment.

When we clarify the truth to these families, there may be obstacles, and some family members may not even want to talk to us. However, as long as we have a compassionate heart and try to think from their perspectives, things will change for the better.
