(Minghui.org) The New Year is a day of celebration for families. However, in China, many Falun Gong practitioners continue to be illegally detained and persecuted for their belief in Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and cannot be with their families.

On New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2024, practitioners in Japan went to the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo and consulates in various places to hold banners and protest peacefully, demanding that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) immediately stop persecuting Falun Gong, stop the forced organ harvesting, and release all detained practitioners.

Timalsina Raj Kumar from Nepal saw practitioners protesting peacefully in front of the Chinese Embassy and wished to learn why they were there. After listening to a practitioner’s explanation, he gladly accepted the pamphlet and said, “I will read it carefully when I return home.”

Matsuno Uchimi (first in front)

Matsuno Uchimi (alias) came to Japan on October 24 last year and began to practice Falun Gong. His father told him about Falun Gong when he was in China, but he did not practice at that time because he was afraid of persecution from the CCP’s police. After he moved to Japan, he decided to start practicing in a free environment.

Mr. Matsuno said he was an introvert and was discriminated against and bullied by his classmates in China because his father practiced Falun Gong. But in Japan, there was no such discrimination or pressure, so he read the Fa and practiced the exercises with his father and participated in a march. He now feels optimistic and happy.

He said many Falun Gong practitioners in Japan helped him, including arranging housing and support at his father’s work and with his own studies. He feels this was all guided by Master, and he expressed his gratitude.
