(Minghui.org) From Fridays to Sundays over two weeks in October 2025, Falun Dafa practitioners in Stockholm held a series of events near the Nobel Museum to raise awareness about Falun Dafa and how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is persecuting this peaceful spiritual practice from China.
The CCP has suppressed Falun Dafa (also called Falun Gong) for 26 years, since July, 1999. During the annual Nobel Prize announcement week (October 6 to 13 this year), throngs of tourists and local residents visited the museum, where they were able to talk with practitioners, learn about the practice of Falun Dafa, and hear about the persecution in China.

Practitioners exposed the mistreatment of Falun Dafa practitioners in China, ranging from detention, torture, forced labor, to forced organ harvesting, and death. They explained that the CCP has now extended the persecution overseas through other countries’ media and even the courts. People were taken aback to learn about the extent of the persecution; many signed petitions calling for its end, and some were interested in learning the exercises.

Opposing Human Rights Abuses
Daniel from Germany said he was surprised that the CCP persecutes people simply for practicing Falun Dafa and following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He feels that the cover-up of forced organ harvesting and that defaming Shen Yun are even more absurd. “It is no different from Satan,” Daniel said. “This is very serious. The CCP is more brutal and vicious than Hitler.”
When he that learned that the CCP has extended this repression overseas, Daniel was very concerned and asked how he could help. He was happy to sign a petition calling to end the persecution. “I read that the CCP has been sending out spies through Chinese consulates to not only monitor Chinese, but they also attempt to influence Western society,” he said. “What you are doing is very important and I want to oppose these human rights abuses.”
Courage to Speak the Truth
One man who spoke with a practitioner said he is a Swedish journalist and he knows that the CCP’s organ harvesting does exist.
Several years ago, this journalist worked with his colleagues to report on the CCP’s human rights abuses against Falun Dafa practitioners, Tibetans, and Uyghurs. They did extensive research and as media professionals, they were upset because the persecution was seldom reported in Sweden. He said that after their reports were published, they were threatened by CCP agents.
The journalist said he admired practitioners for their courage to speak truth. He was also happy to see more people joining practitioners to counter the persecution. He said he hopes the Swedish government supports these efforts and he reminded practitioners to take care of themselves.

The Importance of Perseverance
A Chinese man in his 60s stopped to talk with practitioners on October 12. He said he’s followed the news media run by Falun Dafa practitioners for several years and was glad to visit with practitioners in person.
“The CCP has killed about 80 million people and it is demon!” he exclaimed. He said that although the regime severely suppresses Falun Dafa, practitioners persist in upholding their belief and continue telling people facts. “That is why I respect Falun Dafa practitioners.” He added that he was interested in learning how to practice and planned to read Zhuan Falun (Falun Dafa’s main book).
More People Need to Know the Facts
A young woman from China stopped to talk and said that she works in e-commerce. She told how when she was in China, she often used software tools to get around the CCP’s Internet blockade and was able to read reports from media run by Falun Dafa practitioners. “I’ve lived in the United States for six months and I know the CCP is very vicious in persecuting Falun Dafa,” she said. “The forced organ harvesting is sinister and the so-called Self-Immolation at Tiananmen Square was a hoax set up by the CCP to slander Falun Dafa.”
She said that some people do not believe that organ harvesting is happening. However, the recent hot mic conversation between CCP leader Xi Jinping and Russian president Vladimir Putin on longevity and living to 150 years through organ transplant relayed a clear message. “Anyone who can think clearly knows there’s something in this,” she said. “There are many incidents in China such as missing youngsters, and some of them may be organ harvesting victims.”
The young woman said that many people in China now have more information about what is really going on. “When they piece this information together, they’ll be able to see the true picture.” She thanked practitioners for their efforts and said she hopes that more people see the big picture soon.
