(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 9 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Mr. Miao Jianguo was arrested on August 21, 2024. He was sentenced to five years and fined 6,000 yuan by the Linghai City Court on February 18, 2025. He has been admitted to the Panjin Prison after he lost his appeals case.
Ms. Fang Caixia’s lawyer reviewed her case files at the Zhongshan District Procuratorate on October 9, 2025. The person in charge indicated that they would transfer it to the Ganjingzi District Procuratorate.
Ms. Feng Lianhua and Ms. Feng Yan were arrested on October 5, 2025. They are currently held in Qixia Lockup.
Mr. Xu Kai was arrested before October 1, 2025. Further details are not available.
Mr. Li Jun has been arrested for nearly two months and details are still not clear.
Mr. Shi Guoxing went to Sunshou Town to post Falun Gong stickers on the evening of either September 29 or 30. Someone secretly photographed him and reported him to the police.
Mr. Shi was arrested on October 1 by officers from Laixi City Police Department and Sunshou Town Police Station. They ransacked his home, even rummaging through the refrigerator. His two printers, a computer, and all Falun Gong books were confiscated. He is being held in Laixi City Detention Center.
Four Jinzhou District Domestic Division officers and a residential officer broke into Ms. Wang Yuemei’s home at 8 a.m. on September 29, 2025. They flashed a search warrant in front of her and said that she was reported for distributing Falun Gong materials one day in 2023.
The officers searched Ms. Wang’s home, and confiscated two Falun Gong books and a computer. She was then taken to the Youyi Police Station for interrogation. She refused to cooperate and demanded the police to produce legal basis for persecuting her. The police chief replied, “I don’t want to discuss this with you.” She refused to sign any paperwork.
Ms. Wang was taken to Dalian City Lockup at around 8 p.m. that evening and detained for 10 days. She was released on October 9.
Mr. Lian Jing was arrested by Tiexi District Police Department officers on March 7, 2023. He was later sentenced to one and a half years in prison and fined 5,000 yuan by a local court. He has been released on September 7, 2025.
