(Minghui.org) In the spring of 2005, I started working as a three-wheel taxi driver, and I told my customers about Falun Dafa. When I turned 60, I could no longer renew my license. I couldn’t drive the taxi so I sold it and bought a car.
For the past ten years I’ve delivered Minghui Weekly to practitioners in the surrounding areas. Twice a month, I bring Minghui Weekly, Dafa materials, booklets containing facts about Falun Dafa, paper currency with information about Falun Dafa written on it, amulets, and other items to the practitioners in my area. Since practitioners live in different villages, we meet inside my vehicle on the mornings the market is held. I also collect lists of those who wish to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from them and I publish the names.
The practitioners look forward to these precious moments to talk about their cultivation experiences, receive Minghui Weekly and sometimes a copy of Master’s latest lecture. Some of them overcome many difficulties to get here. They all want to study the Fa (teachings) and save more people.
To attend the meetings, a 67-year-old female practitioner travels about 15 kilometers (about 9 miles) on her electric tricycle. Another 67-year-old practitioner rides a bicycle for 7.5 kilometers to collect the materials. And a 77-year-old female practitioner walks 2.5 kilometers when no transportation is available.
I knew this was my mission. I must use my vehicle well and do a good job of delivering the Dafa materials.
Merciful Master does not want any practitioner to be left behind. In April, an elderly practitioner’s daughter gave me a phone number and asked me to contact the person, which I did. It was a woman who started practicing Dafa before the persecution began. Back then, her husband’s parents and two sisters all practiced Dafa. His older sister was persecuted to death. Soon after, his parents passed away due to health problems. The younger sister, a teacher, stopped practicing because she was afraid she would be arrested. The woman I contacted was illiterate, so she could only listen to recordings of the Fa and do the exercises. She gradually stopped practicing. Deep in her heart, she knew Dafa was good and wanted to resume practicing, but she hadn’t been able to contact other practitioners for years. Master must have seen her wish, and arranged for her to meet with a relative who was a practitioner. She has now resumed cultivating.
When I heard her story, I felt very grateful to Master. When I learned that she was still using the 30-minute music for the second exercise, I quickly downloaded the new one-hour music for her, along with Minghui Weekly, and audios of the Minghui Radio Fa Conference. I also exchanged some currency with her that had Dafa information written on it. She wished to catch up with the progress of the Fa-rectification, and said, “I haven’t done much truth-clarification. If I don’t use the money with Dafa information on it, how will I fulfill my historic vow?”
She contacted an 80-year-old practitioner who lived 2.5 kilometers from her. She gave her currency with Dafa information on it so the elderly practitioner could use it when she bought things.
Twice a month, my husband and I visit the big market in the town 25 kilometers away to meet with a group of practitioners. Afterwards, we drive to another practitioner’s home, which is 20 kilometers away, and then return to the town. We then travel 65 kilometers to deliver truth materials to seven other practitioners. As soon as we get home, we upload the names of those who quit the CCP that the practitioners gave us. We’ve been doing this for more than 10 years, rain or shine.
A cultivator can encounter something meant to improve his or her xinxing at any time. Delivering Dafa-related materials was no exception for my husband and me. Once, when we arrived a little late, the elderly practitioner waiting for us complained, “I’ve waited for over half an hour.”
I felt upset and thought, “I bought the paper and printed the pamphlets, filled up the gas tank, and drove 25 kilometers to bring you the materials, yet you complain that I was late.” I felt she was ungrateful.
I calmed down and thought about it. I realized, “Wasn’t this for me to improve? How could I harbor resentment? I was late. Next time I should leave earlier to ensure that I’m on time. A cultivator should always look inward when they are criticized.”
On my next visit, I explained to the elderly practitioner that I was delayed because I had to wait for a train to pass at a crossing, and I apologized for making her wait.
I took the incident as a warning for myself. I resolved to cultivate away my resentment and seize every opportunity to improve.
I have a friend from the south that I met in my twenties. He was a member of the Railway Corps back then. Since communication tools were not well-developed in those days, we had almost no contact over the years. He’s now 73. Before he retired more than 10 years ago, he was the director of the Transportation Bureau for a city and a CCP member.
He recently contacted a mutual friend and said he would come to visit us. When I heard the news, my first reaction was: “This is not accidental. He’s coming here to be saved. I must let him know the truth about Dafa and help him withdraw from the CCP.”
A few days before we met, I sent righteous thoughts each day to eliminate any interference behind him and all elements that would prevent him from understanding the truth.
Our family welcomed him warmly. I knew that as a CCP official, his mind may have been poisoned by propaganda. I asked Master for help. I started by explaining the basics of what Falun Dafa is and how I benefited physically from practicing it.
I expected some resistance from him. To my surprise, he said he believed me and immediately agreed to quit the CCP. I was so happy. I knew Master saved my friend. Master awakened his knowing side. He traveled thousands of kilometers to be saved. I’m so grateful to Master.
I must keep up with the progress of the Fa-rectification. I must study the Fa more, not be distracted, send righteous thoughts more often, and save more people. Only then can I be worthy of the title: Falun Dafa practitioner of the Fa Rectification period and be deserving of Master’s compassionate salvation.
