(Minghui.org) The annual Rotary Kwinana Community Fair was held in Calista, south of Perth, on November 8, 2025. There were over 100 booths. Falun Dafa practitioners set up a booth, which drew many visitors. Some people wished to learn the exercises right then.

Practitioners demonstrated the five exercises, introduced Falun Dafa and raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. People signed the petition calling to end the human rights abuses.

Kris and Gary signed the petition and expressed their support for the practitioners’ efforts.
“I’ve known about Falun Dafa for 20 years,” Kris said. “We were just at Parliament House not long ago and there were a couple hundred of you practitioners. The energy there was very beautiful, emotional, very teary.” Kris said with tears welling up in her eyes.
Gary said, “They [people] need to look into the persecution side of what goes on in life these days. Don’t just shy away and walk past it. You [Falun Dafa practitioners] have just got to keep the momentum going and keep people aware of these atrocities, and what can be better, so just keep it going. Yes, keep it going.”
Jessica Michele hopes the persecution ends.
Jessica Michele signed the petition. She said she heard about Falun Dafa two years ago when she went to the Perth Royal show, where she met Falun Dafa practitioners.
“The world definitely needs more compassion,” Jessica said. “Hopefully the persecution will end.” She signed the petition and said that we need to get the message out.
