(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 51 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Over 20 Practitioners Arrested

Over 20 practitioners were arrested on the morning of November 2, 2025 by officers from Yinchuan City Domestic Security Division, Yinchuan City Police Department, and local police stations. The practitioners’ homes were ransacked. Known arrested practitioners include Li Shilin, Zhu Lin, Shen Dongmei, Xie Yiqiang (or Xie Yuqiang), Li Jinhua and her daughter, Yang Xuehong, Liu Haixiong, Zhao Lin, Zhao Hengde, Mao Minwu, Wang Xiangchen, Chen Baozhong, Li Lanfeng, Shan Jining, Song Jing, Chen Yulan, Chen Xueying, Si Yurong and her daughter.

2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Hu Yaping Faces Trial

Ms. Hu Yaping, 62, was arrested by Jianghan District Police Department officers on June 11, 2025. She has been held in the Wuhan City First Detention Center. Her case was first submitted to the Jianghan District Procuratorate around August 20 and then transferred to Hanyang District Procuratorate around September 2. She was indicted in October and now faces trial by the Hanyang District Court.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Wang Huiling, her husband Mr. Kang Wei, and Mr. Cui Mingzhi were arrested at Ms. Wang’s home by officers from Faku County Domestic Security Division and Shiqiao Police Station on the afternoon of November 3, 2025. The place was ransacked. The practitioners are being held in a detention center.

4. [Beijing] Ms. Liu Shengping Detained

Ms. Liu Shengping, around 73, was arrested in late October 2025. She is being held in the Haidian District Detention Center.

5. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Youling Harassed

Ms. Chen Youling was harassed at home by Liaocheng Police Department officers after 4 p.m on November 3, 2025. The officers confiscated 58 Falun Gong books.

6. [Tianjin] Zhang Zhiyan Detained

Zhang Zhiyan, gender unknown, gave a Falun Gong flyer to a Communist Party secretary on October 23, 2025. The secretary grabbed Zhang and called the police. Zhang was arrested by Baodi District Domestic Security Division officers and detained for 15 days.

7. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Some Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Ge Xuemei and a few other practitioners of Tianjiaan Residential District were harassed by Political and Legal Affairs Committee staffers, police officers, and community clerks on the morning of October 31, 2025. The officers ordered the practitioners to attend a month of brainwashing sessions, threatening to have their landlords cancel their leases if they didn’t comply.

8. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Meng Zhaofu Released

Mr. Meng Zhaofu was released from Laixi Detention Center on November 1, 2025.

9. [Shanghai] Ms. Li Hong Under Surveillance

Ms. Li Hong has been under close surveillance since November 2, 2025. Two people followed her when she went out. They stayed in her apartment’s hallway when she was home. Similar harassment also took place in late September 2025.

10. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Fengping Detained; Ms. Chang Xiuhua Sentenced

Ms. Chen Fengping was arrested by officers from Wangfu Police Station and Xihe District Police Station on October 29, 2025. Her home was ransacked. She was admitted to the Chengnan Detention Center.

Ms. Chang Xiuhua was sentenced to four years in prison. She is appealing the verdict.

11. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Mr. Wang Jiasheng and Mr. Li Tibo were released on October 28, 2025 after several days of detention. Mr. Song Xingwei is still being held in a local detention center.

12. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Fang Arrested

Ms. Fang, 78, first name unknown, of Huangmei County, was arrested by two plainclothes officers when she was putting up Falun Gong posters on October 29, 2025. They took her to the Xiaochi Town Police Department for interrogation. She was released at around 1 a.m.

13. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhou Meijuan under Surveillance

Ms. Zhou Meijuan has been closely monitored since November 1, 2025. Four people work in pairs, taking turns to monitor her.

14. [Tianjin] Ms. Wei Min Arrested

Ms. Wei Min of Tanggu District was arrested at home by officers from Hujiayuan Police Station on November 4, 2025. They confiscated her Falun Gong lecture video tapes and other items. She was taken to the Binhai District Police Department for interrogation and released after 9:30 p.m.

15. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Sun Yajuan Detained

Ms. Sun Yajuan was arrested on the afternoon of November 3, 2025. Her home was ransacked. She was detained for 10 days in the Sanshayuan Police Station.

16. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Sui Harassed

Practitioners Sui, first name and gender unknown, was harassed at home by a group of officers on the afternoon of November 4, 2025. They confiscated Sui’s photocopier.

17. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Chunhua Arrested

Ms. Li Chunhua was arrested at home by officers from Longsha District Domestic Security Division and Wulong Police Station around October 25, 2025. Her whereabouts are unknown.

18. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Arrested or Harassed

Several practitioners were harassed or arrested in a coordinated police operation on the evening of October 22, 2025.

Ms. Ma, first name unknown, is an elderly practitioner who has been paralyzed on one side of her body for several months. Six officers searched her home and seized a copy of Zhuan Falun.

Ms. Wang, first name unknown, was arrested and detained.

Jiang, gender and first name unknown, was tricked into opening the door for six officers, who claimed to be checking a water leak. They ransacked the residence, but did not find what they were looking for.

The home of Ms. Chen, another elderly practitioner, was ransacked by armed police. They seized six boxes of 2026 Falun Gong desktop calendars. They arrested and took her away, but later carried her back due to her extremely low blood pressure.

Ms. Tian, first name unknown, was also arrested. She was forced to pay a 1,000-yuan bond and given five days of detention to be served at home.

Ms. Ben, first name unknown, was initially given three days of administrative detention after her arrest. The police refused to release her three days later and transferred her to a detention center on criminal detention.

19. [Qianxi County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Zhixin Sentenced to One Year

Ms. Wang Zhixin was arrested on May 12, 2010, after the authorities suspected her of posting a document online that detailed the communist regime’s internal guidelines on how to persecute Falun Gong. She was detained for eight and a half months and released on bail on January 27, 2011. To avoid further persecution, she spent the next 13 years on the run and was arrested again on July 16, 2025. She was tried by the Qianxi County Court on October 14, 2025 and sentenced to one year days later. She was released on November 1, 2025, after the total length of her detention between 2010 and 2011 and her latest arrest had added up to one year.
