(Minghui.org) I have been making calls to clarify the truth to Chinese people on the telephone platform outside China for 11 years. In the process, I have encountered all kinds of people – some have scolded me, asked me for money, or were just messing around, while some were thankful and showed care for me. Due to limited time, I will only share special cases I have encountered while making telephone calls on the rescue platform.
In the beginning, I broadcast prerecorded information on the platform that exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting. It mainly targeted doctors and nurses who were involved in harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. For those who could listen to the broadcast for more than three minutes, I would follow up by speaking to them. I later went to the rescue platform. This platform is mainly for calls to the procuratorate, judiciary department, and 610 Office personnel to clarify the truth and persuade them to quit the CCP and its youth organizations.
When I first started logging into the rescue platform, I was very nervous. When I dialed the phone numbers, my palms would sweat, my heart would beat faster, and I wouldn’t know how to speak. How could I cut in? I had been arrested when I lived in China, and I had clarified the truth to the police face-to-face then, and I could talk endlessly, but I had never really called anyone to clarify the truth. A particular issue I found challenging was maintaining a peaceful and rational attitude in a conversation; when I encountered the other party’s verbal abuse, negative emotions such as grievances, anger, and resentment came to my heart, my mind went blank and I didn’t know how to continue.
I repeatedly read through a passage from Master’s article “The Ultimate Goal of Clarifying the Truth”:
“No matter how evil the persecution is, Dafa disciples are still heading towards Consummation amidst the evil’s tests; whereas the world’s people, who have been instilled with the wicked Party’s lies, are the ones who are truly in danger. The emergence of the Communist Party and the CCP’s real goal is to have people hate Gods and Buddhas, to propagate atheism, to instill a philosophy of “struggle,” and to thereby destroy humankind. And this is the reason Dafa disciples are to clarify the truth. The goal is to get rid of the evil’s lies, to enable people to see the CCP’s true face, to clear away the sins committed by people against Gods and Buddhas, and to thereby save the world’s people.” (“The Ultimate Goal of Clarifying the Truth,” in The Essentials of Diligent Progress III)
I gradually stabilized my mind and found a way that suited me. Whenever I received a persecution case, I wouldn’t rush to call the numbers immediately. I would first go online to find out whether the institution persecuting practitioners had news exposure. I would collect examples of officials in that institution who had received retribution for persecuting practitioners or who had received blessings for protecting them, and would tell the people I called on the phone that cases of good being rewarded and evil meeting retribution were among them.
For example, I called the Shenyang court, the procuratorate, and other departments. I told them that E Anfu, a judge of the Shenbei New District Court of Shenyang City, had wrongfully sentenced five practitioners to between three and eight years in prison in 2001. Ten years later, he died of a cerebral hemorrhage, and before he died, he kept telling his family, “Go find someone who practices Falun Gong!” He also repented of his evil deeds.
Another example I told them about was a man named Han Guangsheng, who was the director of the Shenyang Bureau of Justice. He was completely despairing after witnessing the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong. He released more than 100 Falun Gong practitioners, and later sought asylum in Canada. He received testimonial support from overseas practitioners to back up his asylum claim. When I made calls again later, the other party said that he knew more than I did, and also knew what to do.
I remember two conversations with a section chief of a forced labor camp in Liaoning Province. The first time, I said to him, “Hello! If there are Dafa practitioners who are being detained in your place, I hope you will treat them well.” I told him a lot about Dafa, and the other party listened quietly. Finally, I said, “I hope you can tell your family what I told you and let them recognize the evil nature of the CCP. I will call you again at the Chinese New Year to greet you. I hope that your family will withdraw from all evil organizations of the CCP, and I can help them do it.”
On the Lunar New Year, I kept my promise and called the section chief for the second time. The section chief knew it was me, and quickly said, “My entire family has quit the CCP!” I was very happy, and I could tell that he was happy from the bottom of his heart. The mission of clarifying the truth was completed, and then I said, “Since you have all quit, I will play you a song, ‘Missing Homeland,’ composed by Dafa practitioners and wish your family a happy New Year.” The section chief replied, “Okay, but my phone is about to run out of power. You can put it on, I will listen as much as I can.” With Master’s blessing, the section chief not only listened to the whole song, but also said to me continuously, “It’s so beautiful, thank you very much! Take care!”
In another case, on February 13, 2024, when I made calls for the Jilin Provincial Project, I talked to a police officer from a criminal police brigade in a city for only two minutes, and he agreed to use his real name to quit the CCP. After getting through, I first talked about the situation at home and abroad, and then I talked about the nature of the evil Party, how good is rewarded and evil punished, the CCP-staged self-immolation and false death cases, Dafa spreading in the world, CCP-sanctioned forced organ harvesting, and the movement of quitting the CCP. He said he knew. I asked, “Do you agree to quit the Party?” He said he agreed. I then asked if his family also quit it. He said: “They have already done it, I never had the chance, and I just caught up now.” I said, “I’ll use your real name to help you quit.” He agreed. I said, “Congratulations! You can get blessings from the divine, and everything will go well!”
In the above two examples, the whole family agreed to quit the CCP and its youth organizations after understanding the truth, but in fact, these instances were all foreshadowed by practitioners repeatedly calling to clarify the truth.
Those cases were the good ones. There were also people who had been brainwashed by the CCP and could not listen to the truth at all. For example, a branch committee member of the Juxian Court in Rizhao City, Shandong Province. I spoke to him for 11 minutes, but he just wanted to follow the CCP to the end, and he didn’t believe or listen. I really felt sorry for him, and I hope that the next time another practitioner calls him he will get the message and make the right choice.
There were also people who told me to take care of my health, such as a police officer of a Domestic Security Division branch in Yiyang City, Hunan Province. I spoke to him for 17 minutes, and he listened to me the entire time. I read the full text of Master’s “How Humankind Came To Be” and I asked him if he had any questions. He began to interact with me and asked where I was and if I was Chinese. I repeatedly said that I hoped he could lend a helping hand and wisely help a Falun Gong practitioner, Mr. Xiao. He said: “Thank you for the reminder. You take care of your health,” and then he hung up. Although he didn’t say anything at the time, I believe that he knew how to do things after he listened to what I said.
In the process of making calls, my xinxing has been constantly improving, especially when I see that sentient beings understand the truth and are saved. What I want to say most here is thank you, Master, for giving me the opportunity and wisdom to save predestined people! I am grateful to practitioners for giving me technical guidance in a timely manner, so that I can eliminate interference every time I make a phone call, smoothly convey the message to all beings, and advise sentient beings to quit the CCP.
