(Minghui.org) Practitioners held a series of activities in October 2025 to introduce the spiritual practice to residents of the city of Tijuana in Mexico. Over three days, they visited several key locations throughout the city to share the benefits of the practice and raise awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China.

With more than two million residents, Tijuana is the fifth most populated city in Mexico and a bustling urban center of the Baja California region. As the world’s most-crossed international border and a hub of industry, agriculture, and tourism, Baja California attracts people from all walks of life.
The activities began in the morning at Teniente Guerrero Park, one of Tijuana’s oldest public parks. Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and spoke with locals about the ongoing persecution of practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party.
In the afternoon, practitioners continued their event along the Tijuana boardwalk, where many passersby stopped to observe, learn the exercises, and ask questions.
On the second morning, practitioners visited the CREA Sports Complex, a well-known local athletic center. Later that day, they brought the practice to Tijuana Beach, where many beachgoers talked with them to learn more.
The final day of activities took place in Morelos Park, the largest and most iconic park in the city, popular with families for gatherings, picnics, and visits to the zoo. Practitioners set up in a central area to demonstrate the exercises, distribute information about the practice and the persecution, and collect signatures calling for an end to the persecution in China.
Throughout the weekend, numerous people expressed an interest in learning Falun Dafa and some tried the exercises. One local resident, Javier, tried the exercises on the second morning. Afterward, he shared his enthusiasm, saying he felt a deep sense of well-being and peaceful energy throughout his body — it was as if he had been transported to a higher realm.
