(Minghui.org) I bought my computer in 2006 and have been using it ever since. My computer has allowed me to access the Minghui website almost daily and has assisted me in validating the Fa. Over the past 19 years, we have developed a very friendly relationship. Initially, I knew very little about operating a computer. Miraculously, my computer began to do the needed tasks itself. Now, we work together in harmony every day. I would like to share some of the miraculous stories about my computer.
When I bought this computer, I didn’t even know how to use a mouse. One day at another practitioner’s place, I saw her type out a list of people who had quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), click a button with the mouse, and get confirmation that the list was sent to the quitting the CCP website. After I returned home that evening, I wanted to give it a try. I had a list of several names of individuals who had quit the CCP, so I did what that practitioner had done: typed out the names and clicked the mouse. My computer then displayed the message, “Sent successfully.”
When my daughter came home a few days later, I said, “You can teach me how to use a computer while you’re here.” She asked me what I wanted to learn. I replied, “Just how to get online, print, and send out lists of names of people who have quit the CCP.” Then I showed her how I sent out the list the last time.
Surprised, she said, “You can send it out like that?” I told her that the message “Sent successfully” appeared on the screen right after after I clicked the button, confirming it was sent. My daughter laughed and said, “You Falun Gong practitioners are really amazing! That’s incredible!”
Actually, the computer did all of that on its own! I realize now that I shouldn’t have been able to send it out at all using that method. Master helped me.
I recall another instance during a China Fahui (Conference) on Minghui when I made copies of the Fahui articles using a printer connected to my computer. The printer used just one cartridge of ink, but printed the equivalent of more than ten cartridges’ worth of pages. I was absolutely amazed! I didn’t know how to refill the ink, so I had to go to the store for refills. Each cartridge cost 30 yuan, that saved me nearly 300 yuan. I have had many similar experiences.
For nearly 20 years, despite the CCP’s intense internet censorship, my computer has been able to access Minghui.org almost every day. When I occasionally couldn’t access it, my own xinxing issues were the cause. Once I found my problem, the computer immediately connected to the Minghui website. The internet speed could be slow at times because my computer has very low specifications, so I considered getting a new computer several times. But something unexpected happened every time.
For example, a fellow practitioner once tried to install a new operating system for me, but due to my computer’s age and low specifications, the installation was difficult. We decided to replace it with a used model with higher-specifications. I gave the practitioner 1,500 yuan to buy one for me and took my old computer home.
Back home, my computer stopped working and frequently malfunctioned for no apparent reason. At one point, it went offline and wouldn’t reconnect. I couldn’t ask any non-practitioners to repair it since I was using software to break through the CCP’s internet blockade, and the practitioner who helped me wasn’t available. I thought to myself, “Why can’t I get online? It worked perfectly before. Why did it suddenly stop working?”
Then, it dawned on me, “Was the issue related to my replacing the computer?” I put my hand on the computer and said to it, “I’m sorry. I won’t replace you. Are you alright now? Let’s work together to the end and go home with Master together.” Within a short time, the computer connected to the internet, and everything was back to normal. I called the practitioner who’d helped me and said, “Don’t buy me a new computer. I won’t replace it. Please use that money for the material production site.” Just like that, my computer returned to operating as it did before.
All these years, my computer has cooperated perfectly whenever I used it for work related to Dafa. In 2012, I went to my daughter’s house to care for her child. They didn’t have a wired internet connection. Installing one would cost between 1,000 and 2,000 yuan, and the speed wasn’t even guaranteed. I told my daughter, “Let’s wait a couple of days.” Coincidentally, that very evening when I turned on my computer, it connected to the internet without any issues. I said to my daughter, “We don’t need a wired connection anymore. I can connect now.” My daughter looked at me, smiled with a strange look, and walked away. I knew in my heart that Master had installed the internet connection for me. Thank you, compassionate Master!
It’s truly remarkable that my computer has allowed me to access Minghui.org every day for 19 years, even though my knowledge of computers is very limited. I recall that in the first few years after I bought it, I used a wireless card with 500mbps speed when I traveled, and I had no trouble connecting to the internet wherever I went. The other practitioners were amazed when they heard that. Over these 19 years, this computer has been with me almost every day, becoming an inseparable part of my life. It has become my Fa tool for validating the Fa.
Since 2015, I have helped organize our local practitioners to submit articles for the China Fahui on Minghui.org twice a year. This computer has always ensured that the articles are submitted to Minghui.org without fail. I recall that, for the 2020 China Fahui, a practitioner sent me her article around 9 p.m. on the night of the deadline. After receiving the article, I started to revise it. It took longer than expected, and I didn’t finish until after 11 p.m.. I touched the computer gently and said to it, “Please send the practitioner’s article to Minghui.org at once.” As if responding to my request, the computer sent it successfully. It was already after 11:40 p.m.. I put my hands together and thanked Master and the computer.
Last year, while many practitioners in China struggled to access the Minghui website due to the CCP’s intensified internet censorship, my computer never failed to support my responsibilities. For example, when I helped our practitioners send compiled articles to Minghui, my computer often experienced a complete loss of signal. The FreeGate software, which helps to penetrate China’s firewall, gave me an error message indicating there was no available server to connect to. Even though the system was still searching for a server, I was miraculously able to send the articles. I know this was all down to Master helping his disciples. It also ensures that I can download articles from the Minghui website for fellow practitioners in a timely manner every day. This computer is truly miraculous. It has become an indispensable part of my work in validating the Fa and doing the three things.
My computer also helped me to monitor my cultivation progress daily. For example, if I wasn’t focused when studying the Fa, if I didn’t do the three things well, or if I had specific attachments, it wouldn’t let me connect to the Minghui website until I identified my attachment or where I fell short and identified the underlying cause of the problem.
After the Fa conference this year, I was full of joy, thinking that no matter how strict the internet censorship was, I could still access Minghui every day. I was very pleased with myself. But after a few days of this, my computer, which had always been able to access the Minghui website, couldn’t connect. For two days in a row, I couldn’t connect, no matter what I tried. I then realized I must have a cultivation issue, which made the computer “angry.” I quickly looked inward and discovered that I had been harboring feelings of elation and arrogance. Yet, despite my efforts to find and correct this, the computer still didn’t connect to Minghui. Finally, I decided to let go of my worry and stop trying. Instead, I spent two and a half days watching Master’s lecture in Guangzhou on video. After that, I turned on the computer, and it was able to connect to the Minghui website again.
When I was emotionally attached to getting online, wasn’t it also an attachment? It was an attachment to getting online. Once I let go of this attachment and dedicated myself to studying the Fa diligently, Master noticed that my xinxing had improved, and the computer miraculously began to perform again. My computer truly became my supervisor, checking to see if I had done well with the three things every day. I am very grateful to it, and I promised to keep it by my side as we walk the path of Fa-rectification together until the end and return home with Master!
Above are my personal cultivation experiences. If there is anything that is not in line with the Fa, please tell me.
