(Minghui.org) In 1948 the UN General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and declared December 10 International Human Rights Day. The 2025 theme is “Human Rights: Our Everyday Essentials.”

Falun Dafa practitioners in the UK held a candlelight vigil near the Chinese Embassy in London on December 10, 2025, to commemorate those practitioners who died as a result of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution, and to protest the CCP’s 26-year-long human rights abuses against Falun Dafa.

Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and delivered the message to the public via banners and display boards. They called on all circles of society to pay attention to, and help stop the persecution.

Falun Dafa practitioners held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Embassy on Human Rights Day.

Prem from Birmingham, England, was deeply moved when he saw the practitioners’ activities.

Prem commended the practitioners.

Prem said, “I see this as a remarkable, peaceful, and rational protest. I learned what is happening in China. I think human rights are universal, and everyone should have a peaceful life. To make society better, and for each of us, we need to stand up. This is amazing.”
