(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners from Hamburg, Düsseldorf, and Munich, Germany held events on December 10, 2025, to mark Human Rights Day. The events aimed to raise awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of practitioners in China who practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

They called on all of society to pay attention to the persecution in China and work together to stop it. The practitioners hope that the people in China will break free from the CCP’s shackles as soon as possible.

“I Hope Such Things Will Never Happen Again”

Anita, a German woman, pushed her bicycle over when she saw practitioners meditating quietly in front of the Chinese Consulate in Munich on December 10, 2025. She said she had seen practitioners holding events there many times before, and wanted to come and find out what was going on.

A practitioner told her about the CCP’s persecution of practitioners in China that has been ongoing for 26 years, and the heinous crimes of forced organ harvesting from living practitioners. Anita said that she wanted to sign the petition to stop the persecution. “I do not want forced organ harvesting and the persecution of Falun Gong to happen to people,” she said. “I only hope for peace, and that everyone can understand each other.”

After talking about how the CCP does not allow people to cultivate Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Anita said, “This is not good. No one will agree to this. Such a situation must stop.” She sincerely wished the Chinese people all the best, that everyone can continue to live their lives, and that “such things will never happen again.”

“I Care About Every Life—I Want to Help Chinese People”

Silke, a German practitioner, joined the activities outside the Chinese Consulate in Munich on December 10.

“I have been practicing Falun Dafa for a long time, and often come to the Chinese Consulate to join the protests,” Silke said. “Here, we can effectively express our opposition to the CCP’s persecution and let more people see our existence. I think we should persevere.”

Although she is German, she said the persecution in China also affects her. “Because I’m also a Falun Gong practitioner, these things are closely related to me,” Silke explained, “I care about every life, and hope everyone can live well, especially the Chinese. They have been deceived by the CCP to a great extent, so I want to help them. If I were persecuted, I would be very grateful if someone would be willing to help me.”

Silke began practicing Falun Dafa before the CCP launched the persecution. She believes that the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance advocated by Falun Dafa are “the answers that I have been searching for all my life.”

“In fact, I had always been searching for the truth, searching for a path and a faith,” she said. “I always believed in the existence of divinity, and that there are many more things beyond this world that we cannot see with our naked eyes.”

“I believe in human kindness, benevolence, and compassion,” she added. “We westerners have a Christian background, and benevolence is a core Christian concept. I kept moving forward along this path of compassion and eventually found Falun Dafa.”

Many Chinese people still believe the CCP’s lies, and the CCP is even intensifying its slander against Falun Dafa overseas. As a Falun Dafa practitioner, Silke thinks she has a responsibility to help Chinese people and give them opportunities to access truthful information. “I hope that all Chinese people can get flyers and materials, or see us, and bravely reach out to us,” she said. She has observed that more and more Chinese people are now willing to learn about Falun Dafa.

Silke cited the example of East Germany as a lesson from history. “In the past, we also thought that the Berlin Wall would never fall,” she said. “Today, East Germans are very clear-headed. They absolutely do not want to lose their freedom again, because they experienced communist rule.”

Silke believes that Chinese people also know of the CCP’s atrocities, especially the older generation who experienced the Cultural Revolution and various political movements. “They know these things, but they may need a little push to get out of their passive state,” she said.

Silke believes that Chinese people will eventually awaken and recognize the evil of the CCP. She hopes they can break free from the CCP’s shackles as soon as possible. “I hope they can realize that this in their own country, stand up, and reclaim their traditional China from the encroachment of communism,” she said.
