(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 5 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Qu Xing Secretly Sentenced
2. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Two Years After His Arrest, Mr. Pan Hanyu’s Whereabouts Still Unknown
3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Lang Baiming Tortured in the Prison
4. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chang Xinhong Harassed
5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yuan Yunlan Arrested and Detained

1. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Qu Xing Secretly Sentenced

Mr. Qu Xing from Panjin City went missing in 2015 when he filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, the now deceased former Chinese Communist Party leader who ordered the persecution of Falun Gong. It’s recently confirmed by Minghui.org that Mr. Qu was secretly sentenced to prison and is currently serving time in Dazhou Prison, Sichuan Province. He is subjected to brutal torture for not renouncing Falun Gong.

2. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Two Years After His Arrest, Mr. Pan Hanyu’s Whereabouts Still Unknown

Mr. Pan Hanyu was arrested in March 2023 by the Tongzhou District Domestic Security Division officers. Now two years have passed, his family still don’t know his whereabouts.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Lang Baiming Tortured in the Prison

Mr. Lang Baiming from Jiutai District is serving an either 3- or 5-year term at the Jilin Province Prison. He is forced to sit in a small stool from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day, which has lasted over three months.

4. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chang Xinhong Harassed

Ms. Chang Xinhong from Laiwu District was harassed by officers from the Huayuan Police Station in mid-January 2025 and ordered to sign statement to renounce Falun Gong.

5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yuan Yunlan Arrested and Detained

Ms. Yuan Yunlan from Caidian District, 60, was arrested on December 6, 2024, after being reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong. She is currently detained in Dongxihu District First Detention Center.
